APARTMENT HUNTING IN SEATTLE // 5 units, budgeting, prices + my tips!

so so so excited to get a fresh start in a new place!! I was able to view a total of 5 units in the Capitol Hill area before we decided to make our final decision. for anyone starting this process, stay organized, patient, persistent and most importantly, stay positive💓 it can be tiresome, but it is well worth the work to settle into the place that you have been waiting for.
seattle has become increasingly popular over the years, and I definitely understand the hype. if you are interested in the move, be sure to check out some of the neighborhood areas mentioned as a starting point. i did my best to include prices and other information i found helpful, but if there is anything i missed or any extra advice i could give, let me know!!
i have really been enjoying the famous seattle summer so far and i hope you all are taking good care as well.

Hi!! I saw all your videos because I’ve been thinking of Seattle !! How are you surviving this inflation for the apt part how did the qualification requirement go as far the income

It has definitely been difficult. I feel the inflation more so in everyday purchases (groceries, coffee, services, etc). We chose an older building with more character which tend to be less expensive relative to brand new/modern units. Qualifications vary, but be prepared for income to be about 3x the rent! Hope this helps (:
