what's the point of doing a degree that won't allow you to sit in campus placement? and yes, the recruiter asked for Wilp to be mentioned in your resume. so, you are somehow doing a useless degree.
Ask yourself do you really want to gain some knowledge from m.tech or do you just want a bits brand tag to show on social media?
Also, if you want a tag, then it's better to take a gate exam and then drop out from iit college.

They asked my preference skills in the enrollment letter which I received on March 2. I was filled with testing , python, and sap but some of my friends didn't receive the preference skills section in their enrollment letter. They are 2022 batches.

Dear All. I don't think BITS WILP provides campus placement facility. WILP is for working professionals. Why would they need campus placement? Also why would their existing company provide NOC if their employee would leave them after completing the course. In fact many companies sponsor WILP as a retention tool. By the way, I completed M.Tech through BITS WILP & we were provided no such campus placement facility. We got membership to alumni portal/ network/ group just like many other colleges have theirs. As far as I remember, alumni post job openings there.
Is it worth doing mtech from bits pilani wilp? Is it having any advantage in it industry?
After completion of btech wilp when we go to any company with 3 years of earlier experience and wilp btech degree and what if the company clarifies that we are working offline in some other city and at the same time we are pursuing wilp btech which is not considered as online education but in reality we are attending all the classes online. So as we are attending our lectures online will the degree be considered as online degree?

If you are aware, the Wipro WiLp onboarding process is taking approximately 1 year after the recession. Alternatively, should I go for an MCA?

Professional certifications are valued much more than MTech. Can't compare MSc and MCA to this. MTech is the most useless post graduation course. A large part of this course from BITS Pilani is repetition of what you learnt in BTech. You don't learn much of relevance here.

That's y I asked bcos after i successfully completed I don't want to meet disappointment anywhere....
BCA is three year course so you are not eligible for Mtech you need to opt for Msc CS /IT or MCA first then you can proceed with Mtech
After 5 year bond complition which days you have received experience later means compare to 5 year
You will get experience letter for all the years you have worked with Wipro.

Thank you for clearing doubts🤗. Bhai Kya Wipro join karna theek hoga? Maine suna hai ki ek to salary Kam hai 4 year tak, aur Saturday Sunday ko lectures bhi attend karne hote hai. please clear this doubt 🙏🙏
1. Classes will be either on Saturday or Sunday, not both the days.
2. If you do MCA you will have to pay and also you will be earning zero rupees for three years.
3. After MCA you will be having 0 years of experience and will have to look for job as a fresher.
4. I personally would recommend to go for WILP as regular MCA has nothing extra to offer which WILP cant. This is my opinion.

Yes. I completed M.Tech in Manufacturing Management from BITS through their WILP in August 2021. I got my leaving certificate which is called migration certificate.

Hi Brother, I am doing good and hope you're doing good too. In my WILP degree nothing as such was written. I would suggest you can find someone on LinkedIn who have done such degree and see their degree certificate. Hope it helps.

If master degree enrollment criteria allows WILP degree then you would be able to take admission. I would recommend to research more on this by writing to concerned officials.

Suppose I get selected in WILP and 2 years passed. Now I am in 3rd yr of MTech and I have to choose some elective modules. SO will I have the independence to choose any module of my choice or will wipro put a constraint for me to choose only the electives they deem useful for their business requirements?

I have heard you you will be eligible buy I personally have not seen anyone going for PHD, so cant confirm. I would suggest to writing to BITS pilani for confirmation. Their contact number for WILP queries are available on their official portal.

I'm very glad that I completed in two years (ie with no history of arrears). Some of the myths which I liked to debunk from my own experience.
* It is not mandatory that you should be in the same field of interest, ie., a mechanical engineer working in mechanical field can apply for MS SS. One of my batchmates was a homemaker. She left the job to take care of new born baby during which she joined MS. Thing is you need to choose as "individual" in category column and must have 1 year past experience in any field with any UG in BE.
* Yes, it is possible to pursue PhD. Some of my batchmates pursued. Even top universities like Virginia, MIT approves it.
* Yes, I heard about the chaos and confusion in some companies regarding the MS/Mtech. Reason for the confusion we have MS and later batchmates pursued it as MTech. Even my own batchmates who had arrears and completed later been given as MTech. Moreover it has UGC approval and not AICTE approval. But this doesn't mean invalid, legally. Perhaps one of my friend rejected by Infosys (India) for the same reason. He joined a company in USA. After couple of years he applied for Infosys in USA which was approved. I myself can't understand what is going on.
* Another example I could say my schoolmate was a Bcom graduate, +2 commerce group. He likes to pursue medicine which as prerequisite science in abroad Universities. He worked in software company, joined BS(WILP program in BITS), applied for pre-med in USA government University and got approved. Now he completed MD.
* Even I added this degree in my bar council enrollment (advocate) and during my government exams. I added it in my application for Patent & Trademarks Attorney, Medico Legal Practice (diploma and registration). If it was not authorised by government they would have rejected it right?
So, no fears. It's highly honourable degree.

In this WILP you can do M.Tech after BCA. It will be a four year programme.
