CoF is my absolute favorite metal band! I discovered them when Dani Filth did a collaboration with Twiztid called Neon Vamp (yes, the first time I heard Dani, he was rapping 😅) It was my favorite song on the album, so i checked them out. I am not a metal head at all! But i couldn't get over how amazing their storytelling is. That's the end of my rant. Thanks for your video. It was beautiful.

I've wanted reactors to do CoF, but I doubt anyone can bring the lore quite like you...
I remember, as a teen, reading these lyrics and being completely entranced. Got me into writing and it has shaped the way I communicate.
Thank you! I completely relate to that. I studied literature (all the way to PhD) partly because of them (I did like literature before I discovered COF, of course, but my taste in literature was influenced by them).

It's great to finally be able to film outside! The problem with the mic is that crackling noise it makes when the wind is blowing over it. But I can't afford a better one right now so I can only hope I'll shoot my next video on a windless day 😅
I dont know if this has been requested, and if understand if you dont want to cover it, but I think it would be interesting to hear your analysis of Nemesis. The song breaks my heart, I can't hear it without tearing up a little at the hypothetical image of being in such a vile mental state and what it would take to get me there.

Great and insightful analysis as usual of a Cradle of Filth masterpiece. Your pronunciation of the romanian words is perfect. If I didn't know better, I would say you have some of that transylvanian blood flowing through your veins. All joke aside, your work deserves all the appreciation. Funeral in Carpathia is definetly one of their best songs. In addition to Bran Castle (literally my channel photo) i know another romanian castle called Corvin Castle (I love castles).
