Psych Synopsis: "PSYCH" is a quick-witted dramedy about a young police consultant Shawn Spencer (James Roday, “The Dukes of Hazzard”) who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute that he’s convinced Santa Barbara PD detectives into thinking he's psychic. Raised in Santa Barbara by a family of cops, Shawn possesses uncanny powers of observation honed by his police officer father, Henry, who drilled young Shawn to note even the smallest of details from his surroundings as a way of grooming him for his inevitable career in the family business. With the reluctant assistance of his best friend Gus, Shawn uses his skills of observation and charismatic personality to become the detective he was trained to be, opening his own PI agency - Psych - and solving cases for an ever-suspicious, but grudgingly impressed, police force.

Woody in this episode was absolutely phenomenal, which is saying something considering the whole episode is absolutely bonkers and hilarious; Gus comes in close just behind him with the intoxicated insanity.

I’ve rewatched psych over and over since I stumbled upon it last year, but only now I discovered that in
S5e5 car thieves episode….shawn says “but I do…..but I will”
Same season 5 ep10, In the prison scene where Despereaux says he wants to break out of prison just to prove shawn and Gus he can, Despereaux says same thing “but I do…..but I will”

Panic, I suppose. The fast paced conversation between Shawn, Lassie and Jules explains it. I had to replay it a few times to get it.
yeah I didn’t understand that either. I need to rewatch it because I don’t remember that fast paced conversation between Shawn and Juliet. What I remember is Shawn and Lassie confirming why the guy wanted the phone, then Lassie saying “where’s Guster now?” and then it cutting to the guy in the house. I must have missed these scenes.

So Lily drugs Gus again to get him alone and get the PI's phone and then gets mad when he acts all dopey and unco-operative? What was she expecting?? Or maybe the drug had a different effect the second time?
