praise the source track!
Creative sounds more like the source material, but the Bose is more crisp. Question is what will happen when one would do some equalizing... Pretty sure the Creative has a bass heavy signature.
Hi there!
I know this isn't the place but idon't know what to choose between focal elear and klipsch ehritage hp-3.
Any thoghts?
I prefer the bose regardless of whether they differ from the source material. I’m doing all I can to not go Bose but they outperform most speakers. The creatives sound really cheap in comparison, but they are way more expensive.
Compared to the source (the truth) that Bose sounds horribly scooped and hyped in the treble/bass but it can be saved with some eq. I used to have a pair and the amount of eq needed was quite a lot to tame the excessive treble/bass and missing mids. T100 sound like they need less help to sound true.
Any decent speaker should sound faithful to the recording, then dial in your taste of EQ. Bose already sounds like they're tweaked as heck from the factory and need to be dialed back. I'm for Creative on this round.
T100 rules because of the optical output and Bluetooth and PowerOn LED. Sound is nearly the same. Bose should really update their Companion Series .....
It might be helpful to include a partial track or two with some vocals in your comparison.
hello is the circle thing that you connect the bose with is it important or not necessary
If you have crappy speakers to begin with, won't that affect how well you hear sounds from this video?
Ordered the Bose 20's. Getting them today, needed great sound.
I have the Bose.....Put a sock in the back of the holes of each speaker and it dampens the Bass to a more flat level, and makes them better for mixing, while still keeping a solid amount of bass. Don't have to EQ as much then.
Really useful video, thanks. I think the Bose sound much clearer and detailed. Too bad they are only available in silver and need a bulky power supply. I also don't like that they need that additional control pod.
I have the Bose 20's and they sound great, i also wasn't keen on silver so i painted them black and they look great , pretty easy to mask them and paint including removing the grills and badge.
I believe you can remove the control pod
@@CARLOS68 how u removed the barge?
@@java2894 The Badge just pushes through the grill so from the back just straighten the pins and carefully pull it out.
@@CARLOS68 ok nice well I guess I should buy them and paint the grill
Hard to tell off of this audio comparison (because we're going off of our audio sources and are not in the room, lol) , but I sounds to me, something in between these audio ranges would hit the right spot.
The Creatives sound close to the source, but lack some highs. Bose sounds nice n punchy (good bass) but too colorful (highs need tweaking).
Too bad the Bose are only available in silver. If they had black, I'd get them.
I am listening with a pair of T100. Bose appears clearer, but the mid tone is better on T100. Both lack the base in the Source.
Ouaouh. Nice work......Bose mega winner, of course ! Take care when you listen : the mid frequency (about 500-750 Hz) of the Creative T100 sounds bad like on an old analog phone
Who's the artist of the song, Deep?
Bose always boosts the bottom end so sounds fatter. Question is, does it sound better to you?
Digital Stereophony video Bose Companion 20 vs creative t40 2 series
not a big fan of Bose but they sound cleaner and better compared to the Creative
Bose is overpriced for what it offers at least here in Mexico
when you play Bose, the physical speakers disappear and sound takes over the form, sounds so much bigger and enveloping maintaining crystal clear output.
i was thinking just for a second creative goes better than bose companion 2 lll ,,, with same construction but more power and some remote , i need to go hear it into shop :)))
I have realized that you can't use a microphone to compare sounds like here.
You have to experience it
Tell you what, this test made me think how good my current speakers are. LOL Rocking some classic Creative T7900 7.1, it kinda a shame 7.1 / 5.1 system have kinda died.
The t100 are more close to the source but less bass, cheap sound. The highs on the bose is too sharp, but the sound is amazing.
I’m listening to this on my Companion 20
I have purchased the creative t100 speaker after research, but unfortunately in aux mode, even if there is no cable connected to it, the noise can be heard completely, and as the volume increases or decreases, the noise also decreases or increases, and when I put the device in silent mode, the noise It would also be disconnected, meanwhile, this problem does not exist in Bluetooth modes or ...Also, the sound quality is much better in bluetooth mode than in aux mode. I am disappointed with my purchase
Crap! I've all ready bought the bose. Why didnt i see this before. The T100 sits on amazon at $89 at the time of this message
Creative wins. Will we be seeing the new Tannoy gold line here?
It's the T100 for me
Well at twice the price the Bose should sound better. But they haven’t developed them since coming out decades ago.
Bose Companion 20 with SVS SB1000 crossover 60hz .
Wow the bose has no midrange, vocals are thin and empty. While the creatives are squashed and nasal sounding, they have some midrange, I'd take that over the scooped Bose sound any day.
They sit almost at the same level
IMO Bose change the sound from the source too much.. yes it has more bigger soundstage, but t100 sounds more like the source.. So I will choose t100..
Agree
Man on fire BOSE 100% WINS
it's crazy how big the gap is on that track. Rock is hard.
Noup
Bose ok.
please review on F&D r25bt
I see a lot of bias here. How about a blind test where listeners don't know the speakers being played. honestly, I cant hear a damn difference
Bose sound more crisp and I like it,but that 200£ hmmm....
@Albus Regnum compared to the original creative sounds much better, but personally I like more the sound coming from bose.
To my ears, the Bose Companion has more bass (to the point it's exaggerated) but The Creative T100 has a bit better clarity
Simply with the included control of the creative t100 you put a battery in it and configure the bass and treble if you want
c20 wins
To my ears none of them are any good, save a little more money get better quality and a little more expensive studio, eg, Kali 6, Yamaha HS5, so many to choose from.
Bose is creative's father 😄😄
Bose got more bass
CREATIVE T100 has more features..BOSE is good for their fanboys.just like apple iphones.😁
Bose product quality... what can i say? they don't last very long.
Bose is far superior
Comparing 100 bucks speakers with 200 bucks speakers. Makes sense!? 🙄
Sure
Creatives sound really crappy, thin, cheap. Bose at double the price sound better but not the double! There are another options between that price range that sound definitely better.
Can you list a couple? I was wondering if they was any between these two. The T100s have nearly 5 star reveiws.

idiot always first
SuperSpace I was joking bro chill out
T100 wins this round for me
T100 sounds like cheap plastic speakers, while Bose C20 is way better, clearer and more crispy.
Bought the Creative and it sounded like shit
interesting, I was thinking about getting the Creatives. Why did you think they sounded like shit? Just curious what your comparing them to and what you were expecting. The T100s have nearly 5 star reviews everywhere. Probably for the price?
@@philrubio3567 hmmm, you could try getting it, but to me there’s no bass and good seperation of music. Doesn’t sound full. And the 5 star reviews are mostly isn’t from consumers, They’re from blogs and publishers.
I’m pretty sure they’ll be good for some people but to me it’s a pretty bad choice if you want to enjoy listening to music.
@ly F thanks for the tip. I'm doing more research into other desktop sets before I buy.
Even the deaf knows that BOSE play better. Especially the bass.
You can clearly hear T100 sounds typical cheap. At 4:33
At 5:35 too XD
AT 9:13 too again. Compared to the BOSE, the T100 has no chance.
@@olagor0086 OH SHIT you are right
Bose are complete missing the mid range also for that sound track.
The sine wave at the end looks like a triggered Liberals ECG graph, when they see a MAGA hat. lol
the bose sound terrible, the creative lack bass.
