- A monster stalks your village at night, leaving the villagers afraid for their lives. They see only one way out, which is to sacrifice you as an offering to appease the monster. Little do they know, the monster is more than it seems and you are about to find that out firsthand…

|Song| The song ‘The Beast’ was written by me. I wanted a creepy lullaby that’s made even creepier when it’s sung by a monster, but I couldn’t find anything that really fit. So I decided to write my own lullaby and honestly, I’m obsessed with how it turned out!
|Script| Written by yours truly, a big fan of horror movies, monsters, and the inherent thrill of being at the mercy of something powerful & scary hehehe.
|Script Trivia| I created the monster ‘Sorrow Blight’ with a combination of three beings in mind: the ancient Egyptian goddess Ammit, who would devour the hearts of the impure, a Wendigo, which has an insatiable hunger to cannibalize other humans, and Jennifer Check from the film 'Jennifer’s Body', who was unwillingly used as a human sacrifice in a botched ritual that ended with her becoming a demon.

The classic moral dilemma, do we try to save all the villagers or just the one family that didn't try to sacrifice us.

@@NyxieASMR I'd be scared that the "sacred ground protects you" is a lie and that if we try to save all we will get punished by the monster for betraying her trust.
The other possibility is that the villagers just won't listen to you and thus fail (also ending up outside the church).
Yet, I think I would still try to save everyone, only due to the innocent family members of those that sacrificed me, specifically their kids - even though I would think I would fail due to either reason above...
So many options, can't wait to see where it leads! 💕
If we save that one family that didnt try to sacrifice us, the cycle will repeat again and again. Next time they the one who will sacrifice other people. that what i believe
No moral dilemma at all. They still went along with the village. As such they are as guilty as the rest.
@@crunchy7202 Seems like it was a democratic decision, not a unanimous one. Besides what about the children that had no say, they don't deserve to die due to what the parents did. It's not that easy I feel like 🤔

I really like this story and find myself quite invested! First stop, the villager who spoke up for us and their family. I’d probably spread the word to any who’ll listen, but the good egg is first priority!
The lore of this monster and how it came too be after reading the description this would be something worth 1 a second part it would be neat too see the lamb and monster crossed pathes again. Also this monster gives me DND ideas

The fact that you never reveal what the monster looks like in the story is great. It makes it ten times more jarring. Great work! XD
When I hear the monster's voice all I can think is:
"Have you got a screw loose? Or is it your... animal intuition? Ah, it doesn't matter. You hunters have got more blood on your hands. Die! Die, die! Hunters are killers nothing less! You call me a beast? A beast? What would you know? I didn't ask for this!"

OMG this was freaking awesome. How are you so underrated? The Voice Acting, The Story, The Scare Factor, Through the roof! It was so good. I was like "I hope the monster comes for you evil bastards" Then the nice guy was there so i was like "Except for you" They're dead. They're freaking dead. All of them. Yes baby let's gooo. That ending was insane too. Very well done. Keep making terrifying stuff like this and Yandere stuff too. Keep it up Nyxie ASMR.

You know the thought that people actually sacrificed and killed innocent people over the idea that they could be a witch or simply working with the devil always made me visibly angry. People back in the day were incredibly idiotic. Then again people aren't much better now with all the information we have. Honestly, i'd save the one family and any others i think are good. Everyone else would become a snack.

I haven't read that one actually! When I wrote this, I just wanted to give a good ending to someone who had been accused of witchcraft. Because I'm so tired of reading fiction books where women are killed for that. So I decided to write a script which flipped that narrative.

Honestly this could make a interesting Destruction of the edge lord backstory if the listener saved the good people because instead if the obvious development into edge lord because because betrayal and demons the listener goes down the path of a family man or leader deciding they want to make sure the good people survive and one day prosper.
