This video comes at the perfect time. Been using a spare tv but it's big and time consuming to set up just for a video. Thanks for the great recommendation Joanie.
One thing to consider if you wear eye glasses: if the monitor is mounted on the top of the camera and you are recording yourself looking at the camera, your eyes can be obscured by the monitor’s reflection.
that's good to note!
Ahhhh, been waiting for this one! Thanks for the thorough walk-thru Joanie! Off to check if they make a similar, larger version...for old people, like me. LOL
And thanks for having my back 😘
Great demo
Thank you Always ❤️
One important point to look out for is to get the right HDMI cable. Your camera may have a full size HDMI port… but can also have a mini or micro HDMI port so make sure to check your camera so you get the right cable. For example most Canon have a micro HDMI ports. The monitor will like 99% of the time have a full size HDMI port.
Great tip!
Might also want to consider the refresh rate, as most of these panels won't let you see a high frame rate for slow motion.
Awesome!!
Thank you for the video. The connection to the camera is via the Hotshoe. How would i attach my level to the camera at this point?
awesome!!!
Fantastic! Will this work with a Sony ZV1?
If it has an HDMI port it will work. Check the side of the camera it should be labeled
Once again you've anticipated my needs. When you shoot vertically does the image shown in the monitor adjust accordingly?
for this one you can have it auto-detect and it will flip (tho I find that hit and miss on this one personally). Instead I just use the "Image flip" that I have programmed in the function button and then when my camera is mounted vertically on my tripod the monitor then is also vertical. Works great!
@@TheBiteShot thank you
Which camera perfect for me for making Great attractive food recipes contents
You are a wizard! I was just complaining that I need a new external monitor.
Ha ha! Reading minds is my favorite 😜
Love your videos do you have a discount code for PPA, you can get credit for?
Hello, I was shooting my cooking video on my Bamboo cutting board. But I am having these jittery lines ( MOIRE) of cutting board on camera. Can you please guide how to avoid that? my iPhone never had these problems before. Now I have switched to the entry-level Mirrorless camera .
What battery is used for the monitor? Also what is the brand there that connects 2 batteries.
I would like to know more about the batteries too... Do we get a battery and a charger with this monitor? If not then kindly give us links for the same please..
This seems only possible with Nikon and Sony and other Camera brands but not Canon. True?
Hii mam myself Harry I'm from India dehili I'm Executive chef Awadh Gurop of club dehili ncr I'm watching your video everyday I love too see your content everyday
Can someone tell Canon to allow Photographers to use a monitor without loosing the LCD at the Back?
Or is there a way to set it up? I have tried a Ninja V with EOS R5 and as soon as you connect the LCD goes Blank!
May be there is a way.
Anyone with an idea please help
Did you figure it out?
Just to be clear, this display is not 4K. 4k is the HDMI output. The screen resolution is "just" Full HD, not 4k.
Good clarification!
I have the atomos ninja v.
-Black screen from --3:37-- to --3:54-- unless that's just me?- Now corrected.
Yup, dead time in the timeline.
@@leomachine23 Thank you for confirming!
Just trimmed to fix it. Thanks for letting me know!
@@TheBiteShot my pleasure! I'd hope someone would do the same for me :-)
@@TheBiteShot I also didn't realize that you could trim bits out of the middle of a video in YT. I thought it was limited to top and tail. Glad to know that now.
& please Shere bought camera & lenses content in your youtube channel
Thanks, you're awesome! ❤
PD: There are a dead time in your video. 3:37 - 3:54.
There is an ad there
Thanks for catching that! I think we had an oopsie in the edit. I've made a trim here in CZcams studio and it should take that dead spot out in about an hour. Thank you!
