I mentioned in a comment on Instagram that Jurassic Attack being in the World Finals lineup is a childhood dream come true. I was serious when I said that. I always wanted this specific indie team to debut at the monster truck industry's answer to the NFL's Super Bowl. I can't say how much my respect for Matt Cody has grown now that I know he gave his spot in the main field to Dalton Widner. That's sportsmanship at its finest right there.

Honestly, the best thing to happen in Monster Jam this week is Jurassic Attack finally getting to compete in the World Finals. It's been such an iconic truck for so long to not have been part of the biggest show on the circuit until now. Here's to hoping that it becomes the fourth different independent truck in Monster Jam history to win a title.
Dalton's got a really good chance in my eyes. He's done S-Course racing before(and over-under), and won the 2022 Toughest Monster Truck Tour after starting in last. On that tour, the arena shows can see air that rivals the best MJ stadium shows, so Dalton knows how to get that truck moving in freestyle. Then again, Jim Koehler could also be a real threat in racing with his Wildwood experience.
@@mikeygeisbert2565 If Jim Koehler wins racing at the World Finals I'll look out the window to check if pigs are flying. I'll be incredibly happy since he's one of the only guys left from the glory days, but still.
Ok, someone needs to let Weston compete in Stadiums. He's way too good for Arenas! Same with Blake Granger!

I heard that Feld Motorsports are debuting a new Truck called Sparkle Smash in Real Life at the Monster Jam World Finals 23 on Saturday May 18 2024 at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles CA so that's exciting and hopefully they can debut Horse Power Aqua Stallion Racing Stripes and Knightmare!!

I almost feel like you could make two videos a week. One with just the Monster Jam news, and another for the independents. Please don't take that the wrong way, but you used to do a pretty even split between the two. The last few have been almost entirely MJ related. It would be nice to see some of the other guys get some attention. Triple B debuted a new USA-1 this past week, and it is gorgeous, but also got no recognition really. Not that I think Triple B is worth mentioning, but that truck was done very well.

Who do you think winning the series with krysten andersson and Armando Castro I think that Armando is winning and that sportsmanship that matt cody did is so big it’s dream for everyone to drive in world finals and that he gives away his ticket is so big of him because he hasn't driven for like the whole year

What happened to Mike Vaters Jr. And Sr.? I never see or hear about them anymore
They're still running at smaller shows. they left MJ after COVID most likely because of something that is a touchy subject amongst most people so I'll just leave it at that. But check out Monster Invasion Mike Sr has been putting on some really badass independent shows.

@@austinstre93 making toys into real trucks. i have nothing against it, i like a lot of the designs that came from spinmaster. but yeah hot wheels does the same so i was just saying they are doing something similar.
@@DiggerFan15This is nothing new for Monster Jam. They did this wayyy before HWMTL. Vette King was originally a diecast but became a real truck in 2002.
I miss when monster trucks were trucks. I literally couldn’t give less of a shit about another stupid 3D body
Nah, I get the love for regular truck designs but I mean, they’re just truck designs with bright colors, they’re usually boring designs to me, with a few exceptions like bad company and black pearl, but 3D designs are cool because they’re unique and always different
I somewhat agree but not because it's a 3D body. I see the need for trucks marketed towards little girls. But literally every truck that this has been done with has ended up causing a buzz for one or two seasons and then just becomes a filler truck and slowly disappears into history. Maybe it'll be different this time. I don't know the truck might even only exist for this one oncore but I'm not getting all worked up for it.
I will say I do prefer the truck bodies over 3D. If you want 3D, El Toro Loco does this look perfectly. It's 3D while still having some semblance of an actual truck. But present day I highly doubt we'll be getting any new trucks that will have that same look.
Ok I'm not hating by any means but sparkle smash becoming a real monster truck, that's a little ridiculous if you ask me. Lastly just want to say this. If it wasn't for Brandon leaving Matt Cody with such a high number I don't think he would be series champion, he would at least placed 4th.
Honestly if it wasn’t for Brandon leaving I don’t think Dalton would’ve gotten the invite
