I like that we get to see a different side to Tiger Claw. He really does seem to actually care about Shredder's safety and isn't just in it for the paycheck.
Yeah if I’m not mistaken Shredder called him old friend so they definitely had a friendship back then and Tiger Claw is always looking out for Shredder’s well being seen in other episodes too.

I always wondered what it would be like to read minds. Given how in almost every tv show or movie the mind reader either gets emotionally unstable or is able to become a better person because of it.
What an intense pair of episodes I was literally on edge as I watched both of these for the first time! They had me on my toes thinking splinter was going to die and April killing Donnie literally made me cry I was so shocked! I could not believe they allowed any of that on a kids cartoon.
I honestly agree with you about April being so unlikeable in this series, they literally turned her into a little brat who likes to stir up conflict between Donnie and Casey who compete for her affection. In my opinion, Donnie and Casey deserve so much better. I also don’t like how they gave her powers, she seems too OP, I prefer April when she was just her normal savvy reporter self and didn’t play with Donnie’s emotions.
Idk man, I only disliked the Casey and Donnie situation, like, girl, just tell them the truth, don't play with them like this. But apart of this, I mean, I actually liked her
I will be honest I didnt like all of this episodes much.Even though how much dark it is.Because the plot is weird and alot episodes doesnt really makes sense.And also beebop rocksteady,tiger claw this guys are just doing the same sht again and again.Specially beboo rocksteady became so dumb because of comic relief.This is why I like season-1,2 and 3.Because it felt like they had some kind of new vision and serious storyline of this cartoon but in the end of season 3 and start of 4 it just feels like a new tmnt show and every episode feels just some kind of 80s cartoon show which is what I hate about it.
This has got to be one of the darkest cartoons Nickelodeon has ever aired. I love this show so much no matter what anyone says
