Did you have any rubbing with your steering wheel after the swap? I did this swap about a month ago and tightened the center bolt to the factory spec, and for some reason the bottom of my steering wheel rubs like crazy on the plastic of the steering column and it's driving me nuts.
@@300Meez yeah, idk why it's rubbing so bad, torqued the wheel down to the recommendation listed from dodge so unless my torque wrench is just not accurate 😂 i'm gonna have to take it off and see if i can fix it
@@R700Demonprobably over torqued it Honestly bro no need for it to be torqued back as tight as it was, i just hand tightened mine snug and havent had issues since
@@GDinero I actually went back and figured out that the big metal damper/weight that you put the nut through was pushing against my wheel and making it rub against the plastic of the column - took that out and no issues since. Not sure why mine was rubbing though /if that part is supposed to be different in SRT8s
