@@kp755 Lighter model could be made by reducing battery capacity. It is very impressive they have broken the 300km barrier, but many riders will not need to utilize this range.
As we have seen after the Mach2 launch, the range has increased with the addition of better regen, so even halving the battery pack still yields a respectable 170km range.
Understandably, UV focused on pure performance and capability first, but I would imagine in the future more entry-level models will come into existence.

Their top speed is only 140+km/h, so they are made for Indian roads, a moderate power electric sportsbike for indian roads.
