I marched this show and just watched it for the first time in over a year...still have no clue how we lost state. O well.

To be fair, the state show was pretty bad, at least according to the CZcams recording. We were a lot cleaner as a line and a lot less anxious, tempo wise in this BOA show.

Hey, I put Ballet Russes up, but I took down Bring on the Night due to lack of views.

Kind of off topic, but what is Lafayette's drumline going to be like next year? I heard they are losing their top 3 snares and a tenor, dunno who else. Dunbar's lost 7 seniors, so they're cutting down to 4 snares and 4 basses. That's crazy, but they'll be clean.

Turn up the volume real loud, and try to hear what the people are saying, its pretty neat.

I mean like what's their numbers going to be? Who are they losing? I'm just interested, because Dunbar's is going to probably have an off year so I'm sort of worried. The drumline's the most important section of the band.

LOL, I know who John Willmart is. Every drummer in Lexington does. We also have a former Cavaliers snare as our instructor, but that doesn't mean they're miracle workers. They have to have talent to work with.
But yeah, we'll be really young too, so looks like we'll be even this year.

@41192cubs No, we are losing 5 snares, 1 tenor, 2 basses. but we have plenty of talented percussionists who will gladly step up to be on Lafayettes drumline

Kinda...you guys had a beastly line in 05 but not so much in 06 and 07. We were pretty good in 05, okay in 06 and we were awesome last year. Too bad 7 of those guys will be gone...

I still can't imagine how Sheba possibly lost state.

Ive heard so many things on drumline, in my opinion theres is always to small for a 200+ band, but ive heard more that its not going to be as good, but they say that every year, youll just have to wait and find out.

    I can't stand it.
