I was cabin crew for B.A after I left shows, and the coffee on aircraft is disgusting too! Lol 😂
I never drink coffee on aircraft. I always have tea 😁☕
oh gosh... i didn't realize decent coffee was that hard to make😂 tea is always a safe way to go
Hey thanks man! Headed to my first contract and I've been watching your videos to prepare, but I just caught this one with a few days to go before boarding. You're the best, enjoy Voyager!!!
Good to know! Thinking about starting a career on a ship
I am signing on November 20th on Odyssey of the Seas! Thanks for the video!
Binge watching now.
The passenger coffee and creamer is pretty bad too. I always bring my own coffee and creamer on board.
10-12 hour days aren’t bad IF you get time off in between. I worked a camp counseling job where I worked almost all day every day and night. We had a strange break schedule but it’s a lot like cruise staff where you make amazing. You got off duty one 24 hour break a week, and three 2 hour breaks a day. Every 2 weeks you got a weekend off. It was hard work and a lot of hours, but I made great memories and decent money. 10-12 hour days without sufficient breaks/days off would wear on you though.
SUCH helpful tips!
i’m glad!!
hiya loves!! thanks so much for watching today’s video... if there’s any topics I haven’t covered about ship life that you want to know more about let me know! ✨⭐️
Where did you get that top (or dress)? Love the pattern.
Does your video uploads usually take up the whole allotted time for wifi?
I have HORRIFIC motion sickness and would never make it but you have me ready to go sign up to work on a ship 😂 it just seems like such a cool experience. One of my best friends is a dancer for carnival and has been for like 6+ years now and she loves it
EmpireOnEighteenth surprisingly, you hardly feel the ship moving! but that’s amazing, I always get excited hearing about other people who also work for a cruise :)
Where were you allowed to go as an employee? You mentioned the track. Is the track for employees as well?
Hey Jordan! Thanks for the information. Sorry if this is a silly question, but I was wondering how do you get hot water for the coffee press without leaving the cabin? Are kettles allowed on cabin? I will be working as a musician on board next month and I can't live without out coffee haha. Thanks for your videos!
Is the coffee thing maritime industry wide? I don't drink it but I'm in the Navy at it's awful for those who drink it haha
I can't remember what brand of coffee it was, but at least we're all on the same page here 😂
Do you like ship life or would you prefer working on land

Your dress is so cute! Where is it from?
Wait there’s no WiFi on board??? On a laptop???
Love this so so much!!!
Do you have to pay for all of your food as well or is that supplied/discounted for people employed on the ship?
food is included, specialty’s/drinks we get crew discount :)
How long is a contract? Does the length vary? Do you always get assigned to the same geographic area?
yes the length usually varies and can be different/similar itinerary ! just depends honestly in the ship and season
