very helpful example....never let aging prevent the expression of our hearts....nice looking food fare. where i live "Lifescape" provides a meal every Monday - Friday. And I appreciate them and the labor. Last time the Cheesy potaoes, nice and tasty; cheesy 😮😊 Then they sneak in a peach cobbler. I like the comment here in this video. Mahalo is in every meal. May the Almighty and His Son's; Jesus and angels receive joy in their lives, by watching these neighbors with all their own probkems, sacrificing for others. 🎉🎉❤
Wow. Thanks to God and everyone who is a part of this- even the recipients! Thank you thank you! 💜❤️
God Bless you all ❤
What's "kapuna?"
Short answer: It can refer to an elder of some sort. Example: Grandpa, Grandpa, etc.
Google’s answer:
grandparent, ancestor
Kūpuna means grandparent, ancestor, and/or honored elder. In the Hawaiian culture, kūpuna were highly respected and seen as an important link as keepers of ancestral knowledge.
@@MichelleNyxRaymond I'm a native speaker who speaks ʻŌlelo Kanaka, the language of my kūpuna and of kēia Pae ʻĀina. The guy who spoke first in the video with that wrap on his head mispronounced it and said kapuna. There's no such word in our language. It's either kupuna (singular) or kūpuna (plural). People, especially (malihini) should educate themselves about the host culture, beginning with the language. "Knowledge is free." It makes my skin crawl to hear people slaughtering our ʻŌlelo Makuahine. If one can't say it properly, then say it in the colonial language, English.
@@MichelleNyxRaymond Learn to pronounce it correctly!🙏🤙
Why are you still wearing a mask
Hawai'i is my home. I do not like what I see. We can take care of ourselves
What about the other people on the big island ? Nothing like this happening on my side of the island ... Bogus 👎 !!
😠 Mean and Unfair to others on the big island !
Bad karma not giving the time and date of the free food ... Why not give that information ?
Maybe you should organize one for your side and let this inspire you rather then begin jealous of what others have. God bless you and what you do 🙏
