I have watched many tutorials with no luck and having always enjoyed trying new eyeshadows, it was starting to be a part of my routine that I did not enjoy. But that changed yesterday when I found this tutorial. I sat down with a new Pat Mcgrath palette that I had all but given up hope on, and did one eye only and I cannot believe what I saw in the mirror. Such a helpful video ... the best on hooded eyes I’ve seen. A recent nerve block in my neck caused my right eyebrow to temporarily go way up while simultaneously giving me a hood. Once the side effect wore off, part of the skin was stretched and I was left with a weird fold. I haven’t known how to address it, but this gives me hope. Thank you!

My hoods are so bad that my eyeshadow practically has to start on the lower edge of my eyebrows 😂😂 But since I tried doing it this way I now appear to have eyelids❤️

This is an excellent demonstration of how to mask hooded eyes and make the mobile lid look larger. By doing one half with the tips and the other side without, you can really see the difference. Your techniques are so helpful. Great video!

This is by far the simplest straight forward hooded eyeshadow video I have seen and I have watched many. Thank you so much. The only thing that would have made it better is more lighting and zooming in a bit more as well as perhaps a close up of the brushes used and the shadows.

Looks fantastic!!! My eyelids hurt they're so hooded the skin falls right over. 😖They're so ageing but make up makes a huge difference doing the ends so dark and drawing up and over ❤️❤️

Hi Nisha! Wow! You really made perfect sense with this tutorial… Thank you ever so much! I always had non-hooded eyes until I developed “Graves’ disease“ which is an autoimmune disorder. One of the side effects is that it tends to attack not only immune system but also your eyes. (If you’ve ever seen folks that have eyes that look as though they are popping out of their head, those folks probably have Graves’ disease and most likely are undiagnosed😥). The other way this condition affects eyes is that it gives you “hooded“ eyes as well as a lot of darker reddish color in your crease area. Thanks to you I cannot wait to start correcting this look with your beautifully executed tutorial!!💃😃. Lastly, I would love to ask you if you could give some info regarding your gorgeous hair cut and color! I am a blonde with much the same skin coloring as you, and all of your make up choices would naturally fit my skin tone as well as your Beautiful hair color! I live in the US and my best friend is a brilliant hairstylist and colorist so could you please share your exact colors?? I Currently have natural White/blonde/silver color as I have not colored my hair in over 3 years. Everyone loves it and says it’s gorgeous how did I do it? LOL! You are the first to be able to help me cause my eyes when open look like they have no hood at all so my creases are deep deep there is no skin showing cause my eyes are sunk in due to medical reasons so this helps cause my eye shadow is always hidden or so hard to do and comes up missing instantly lol
Wow! This is a revelation for me! I've always had deep-set, hooded eyes. And now I'm 57, I thought my only options were a bit of highlighter under the brow.......... And mascara. I'm terrified of looking like the dreaded Mutton Dressed As Lamb. But from your vid, it's clairly possible to use makeup to enhance your features, even in "old" age...(Even though you're obviously a LOT younger than me. I only mean that your tips would still work for my age group). And still have fun with eye shadow, despite hooded eyes. Thanks!

My eyelids hurt they're so hooded the skin falls right over. 😖They're so ageing but make up makes a huge difference doing the ends so dark and drawing up and over ❤️❤️

I love when you do these hooded eye videos it really helps I’ve been saving them so I can copy as I do my eyes, I do have one eye that hangs over more than the other and is crepey and it still always looks hooded no matter what but I will give this a go thanks Misha for doing these 😊

Hi Nisha! Wow! You really made perfect sense with this tutorial… Thank you ever so much! I always had non-hooded eyes until I developed “Graves’ disease“ which is an autoimmune disorder. One of the side effects is that it tends to attack not only immune system but also your eyes. (If you’ve ever seen folks that have eyes that look as though they are popping out of their head, those folks probably have Graves’ disease and most likely are undiagnosed😥). The other way this condition affects eyes is that it gives you “hooded“ eyes as well as a lot of darker reddish color in your crease area. Thanks to you I cannot wait to start correcting this look with your beautifully executed tutorial!!💃😃.
Lastly, I would love to ask you if you could give some info regarding your gorgeous hair cut and color! I am a blonde with much the same skin coloring as you, and all of your make up choices would naturally fit my skin tone as well as your Beautiful hair color! I live in the US and my best friend is a brilliant hairstylist and colorist so could you please share your exact colors?? I Currently have natural White/blonde/silver color as I have not colored my hair in over 3 years. Everyone loves it and says it’s gorgeous how did I do it? LOL! I said just stop coloring your hair and grow older with grace & positivity! 🥰💃🥰💃 Thank you again for your inspiration! This is the BEST video for explaining and creating a crease, it belongs #1 trending and in the Hall of Fame. It affects so many people and makes them give up because their makeup never looks right. You are the first to be able to help me cause my eyes when open look like they have no hood at all so my creases are deep deep there is no skin showing cause my eyes are sunk in due to medical reasons so this helps cause my eye shadow is always hidden or so hard to do and comes up missing instantly lol

Wow! This is a revelation for me! I've always had deep-set, hooded eyes. And now I'm 57, I thought my only options were a bit of highlighter under the brow.......... And mascara. I'm terrified of looking like the dreaded Mutton Dressed As Lamb. But from your vid, it's clairly possible to use makeup to enhance your features, even in "old" age...(Even though you're obviously a LOT younger than me. I only mean that your tips would still work for my age group). And still have fun with eye shadow, despite hooded eyes. Thanks!
