Sana manlng may isang pinoy director na gumawa ng epic film with this song, especially about the 10 datu with great special effects and all the best filipino actors. It would be amazing. Hahaha. Like if you agree. 😊😊😉

Kung gagawa man, nakakadisappoint talaga minsan. ❤

It's high time for Filipino directors and producers to really step up their game. If they are to create such an epic, they have to do thorough and thoughtful research. There has to be a certain intellectual vigor and higher level of contemplation in crafting the story, dialogue, and musical score. The masses have been bombarded with low class productions for years and it has to change.

By musicality reason Philippine music is very complex and difficult. Our folk songs were modified to be sung in choirs not only in Ph but other countries too. This is rooted deep in our culture and how we relate into it. A nation considered to be established by way how the people represents their collections of music, myths, legends and arts.

The composer Mr. Benny Castillon was a former member of this group, The University of San Agustine Troubadours. The first performance of this song was actually done by a select group of Troubadour Alumni - Koro, in a local arts festival. But the first time this was exposed to the national audience was when this performed by the USA Troubadours in CCP for a music festival, therefore it would be appropriate to declare that it was they who originally sang this composition first, thus they are indeed the originators of the performances of this choral masterpiece.

I wondered if the acoustics of the venue made the sound of this choir very fierce as the sound of the bamboo was not natural too. However, at many points, the sopranos were too powerful and it overpowered the other sections, especially the basses.

Kaya nga matatapang ang lahi ng mga asa Mindanao, not matapang in a bad way, kumbaga mga warrior type. Di man dapat gawing issue yan. Iisang bansa man lang tayo.
