I’m confused. You make no mention of part N1504, O-Ring Nozzle Cap. I see the o-ring in the exploded diagram but I’m not sure if my TRN-1 ever had one, or if I lost it or if it disintegrated in cleaning. I know it’s needed because I get bubbles around where it should be seated. What’s the deal? Thanks, and thanks for the informative video.
Hi Tornado. Hope you're doing well. Thanks for the kind words. Much appreciated. Historically, the TRN 1 never had the O-Ring Nozzle cap. The thought was that it wasn't needed as much as with the bottles that get attached to the TRN 2. It takes a lot to get the paint up from the bottom of a bottle. The larger nozzle on the TRN 2 could stand a bit more air flow., too. Bubbling around the base of the nozzle cap isn't unusual. That's normal. If you want an o ring for your TRN 1, I have those in stock. Hope this helps!
Hi Keven. Hope you're dong well. I use the soft jaws out of the Iwata Pro Maintenance Tool Kit. They can be challenging for tapered parts. Sometimes, I'll let the front end of the airbrush soak in cleaner to loosen things up. Hope that helps! Hi D! Hope you're doing well. If you've got bubbles in the cup, easiest thing to check for is some accumulation at the tip of your needle. That's called tip dry. Brush that off and you should be good to go. If there's no tip dry, take a close look at your nozzle with a magnifier. Even a little damage can cause things like blow back, aka bubbles in the cup. IF the nozzle is fine, then it's usually something loose up front. Like the Nozzle cap or the nozzle itself. Avoid using pliers! They chew up the finish! If you've got things finger tight and there's still bubbling, you might try a little chap stick on the base of the nozzle before you screw it back in place. Hope this helps. You sound like a chocolatier! What fun! Hot water and soap are fine for the needle and nozzle and the other parts up front. Best not to get the air valve wet. That can create other problems. Do you have a parts guide for your TRN?

everytime i want to clean my trn1, i need to do this?
Motul, no. Not every time. If you are careful and keep paint out of the slide parts, you may never have to do this.
Mine is leaking paint like crazy from around the trigger. What part do you think I need to clean or replace?
