Very jealous. There are two reasons I want to go to Japan - Ukiyo-e and Japanese films (live action). 2nd hand shops, museums, and indie theaters will be THE priority. Everything else is just bonus.
I was thinking about Polish salt mines right before you mentioned the giant block of salt from Poland lol Also, you can lick walls in tourists parts of salt mines in Poland.
That salt museum looked rad. Kinda reminded me of the Corning Glass Museum in New York state, which is actually a super interesting place despite it just being about glass.
Sometimes I think there's museums for stuff that doesn't seem impressive or important like I thought at first about the salt museum but on second thought and after watching this I would love to go visit.
Back to you Mudan. I don't even going to try making a convincing message to trick you today... HAVE YOU CONSIDERED SPEED RUNNING EVERY SINGLE TEMPLE IN TOKYO?!
Fun fact: Ukiyo-e is the earliest versions of manga, which means anime traces back to Ukiyo-e as well edit: did not watch until Mudan brought up that fact my bad ya'll 💀
See this is back to the good ol' Mudan show I know and love. I said "all Mudan, all the time!" And this time there was three Mudans talking to each other! 😱 good stuff
I just came back from Japan after 2 weeks of epic adventures. I tried to find that gluten free desert from Starbucks but no luck. But I managed to find many other gluten free places. Best places were Gluten Free T's kitchen in Roppongi and Ueno. I also loved the curry bread baked by Ricehack
I don't smoke, but as somebody who has anxiety over simple conversations, I'd do just about anything to avoid talking to even a cashier (and I was one). So I get it. Plus they seem to have a larger varitey, so if it was soda for instance, I could totally understand being okay with the extra card you have to get.
The surprise in the video left me a bit salty and with a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Bad puns aside. Just glad to watch another day of Mudan faffing about in Japan.
In germany we have a lot of cigarette vending machines. They come in handy, if you're somewhere, there is no store. In the case of your vending machines, I think it's more of a style thing.. But getting an extra card just for them is stupid. In germany you can just use your ID or credit card to verify your age. Anyway love the videos! Peace! 😊
Day 61 of asking Mr Mudan to start in a random area of Tokyo and compete with babysitter and foxie to see who can find the most small hidden shrines in the back alleys and rooftops of Tokyo in a day!
Hi Mudan. Just asking again for you to check your email or social media accounts which I've reached out to about 25-30 hours worth of a dedicated effort over the last week I've done: a comprehensive route for the much-requested speedrun (bear with me). I've designed the route, in it's entire 220+ pages of documentation, so that it starts and finishes near major transportation hubs, and can easily be shortened to a 1/3rd or 2/3rds of the full route of 214 temples/shrines, so that it is realistically feasible, viable, and able to be done (the full length route) within 8 hours or less (which is key as most smaller temples are only open for a 8 hour time slot between 9-5). If you could give this a look, that would be greatly appreciated. I did this because I felt that our requests for a speedrun was unreasonable given the enormous amount of organisation and preparation you would need to do on top of a full-time job and daily vlogs. Therefore, I felt that this would be the most ethical way of asking for this speedrun. I anticipate receiving back communication as to your thoughts.
As a side note for other people in the comments (because this feels like an obvious question), I'll release the route publicly (documentation and map) after the 4th monthly update video in it's comments, unless Mudan communicates to me before then that he'll do the speedrun at some point, in which case I'll do it on the actual speedrun video. Just because I think it'd be nice to keep the route a surprise.
@@majoramoons bro beat me to it, I made one with the main ones we wished to have etc lmfao oh well, there goes my months work. Nice to see others getting their hands dirty XD
@@lushfruitTbf, both approaches to a route are good. My route is definitely moreso focused on smaller temples in a concentrated area around the general Asakusa area and surrounding areas (as it's pretty much one of the only areas with small locations very relatively close). I did consider the larger temples, but I felt that it didn't really make sense considering Mudan has already visited a fair few of the major ones and therefore such a speedrun wouldn't bring any substantial value to him, as opposed to one focusing on smaller locations. But don't discredit your work. Had you not held the frontline all these days, I probably wouldn't have been compelled to put it together (especially considering how tedious it was). I stand on the shoulders of giants in truth.
Day 97 of asking Lord Mudan to speedrun nearly every main temple in Tokyo properly! Mudan speedrunning health problems with Tobacco and Vitamins before temples
We have been a-salted by Mudan.
Two drums and a cymbal fell off a cliff level humor.
Mudan must have been really salty not being able to film in the first museum
Haha, Good one 😆
did not expect to get rickrolled in a mudan vlog today
1:18 had me second guessing whether he actually stepped on them or not lol
I've been there two years ago! Probably the only museum where you can buy snus in the gift store :)
The mevius he 'stomped' at 1:13 are unironically the smoothest cigs I've ever smoked in my life lmao

2:42 - Poland mentioned 💪💪💪
oh my god! I recommended this to you! I'm so glad you eventually got to go! the tabacco and salt museum was small but quirky
Sometimes I think there's museums for stuff that doesn't seem impressive or important like I thought at first about the salt museum but on second thought and after watching this I would love to go visit.
fucking mudan makes one interesting video a day and he's still got time to show up on my stream to mock me for being bad at the game
I'm pretty sure at this point that Mudan is a multidimensional being with the ability to edit and do several other things at the same time!
yay museums!! I remember seeing Hokusai's art in Monet's Home in Giverny! adding the Sumida Hokusai museum to my bucket list
Another day in Mudan's Bizarre Adventures
3:26 you're welcome.
You switched off the long sleeve at the 11th day, well played.
256/365 nice video once again, felt like a vollyball at the end 5:09
This was pretty cool, also love the snazzy BGM!

Back to you Mudan
ACTUALLY FIRST! Love you Mudan! Love from Serbia!
I do have one of those lamps and yes, I've licked it. Don't recommend it, though. Didn't taste that great. Bit salty.
Wonder how Mudan will deal with the heat once the summer really hits
Great history museums! Also don't forget to visit Hirata Swordsmith and learn how to forge your own knife!
Always nice to see mudan upload

WAIT DID YOU SAY YOU LICKED THE ROCK SALT LAMP AS A KID?!? MUDAN THAT CAUSES BRAIN DAMAGE 😭
It just keeps getting better and better.

Considering your fascination with that salt, maybe you should try out salt baths. Are there onsen in your area specialising in that maybe?
wauw
Yo that Coffee Cats song goes so hard
Why did you suddenly wear such formal clothes in recent episodes
3:27 damn it
What was more worth visiting, the Hokusai museum or the Salt and Tobacco one?

Missed opportunity to be salty about the museum
