My 43 is my most carried...Carry a spare 8-round mag from Vickers tac. If I can't defend myself with 15 rounds... ...I suppose I should go back to my own neighborhood. 8>/
Five years ago my first EDC was the 43. Since then I have carried a Shield Plus, 43X, CZ P01, CZ P07, Beretta 92FS, and an old Colt Detective .38. Guess what? I am back to my 43 as it just feels the best to carry every day. With a Pearce +1 on the mag in the gun when in the holster (7+1 for 8 on the draw) it is still very light but affords me basically a full grip on the gun for a better draw and better grip when firing. FAB Defense +3/4 mag extension on my backup mag and that is all I need. Very light and very easy to conceal. I now run the 43 with the 43X slide on it (front serrations and tapered on the front of the slide and has the "marksman" barrel). I run a TLR6 light with no laser in a Vedder Light Tuck holster. The light is awesome and helps balance the gun a bit but only adds a little over an ounce to the total weight. It is now my favorite gun and it goes with me everywhere I go. I also have Talon Grips tape on both the gun and on the pinky extension, this helps thicken it up a little. Sights are Ameriglo Spartans with the green dot. I have not messed with any of the internals and will not as I want it to be as reliable as possible. I have about two hundred rounds through mine, no malfunctions, all with Hornady Critical Defense 115g.
Case on point. The 43 is built for a purpose. Concealability and lightness to carry. Capacity will never be an issue for as long you are proficient with this tool. I own a Glock 45 butt for edc it’s 43 for me so I could run to my 45 if needed. 😜
I’m going to be buying a 43 in the next couple of weeks. I gotta be honest, it wasn’t even on my radar when I started looking…it’s now the only choice for me personally. I’m with you on the number of rounds needed for concealed carry, if you can’t stop a threat with a few rounds…you’re probably in trouble.
It’s a great choice… Yes if one cannot put rounds on target you should be running and evading. 7 rounds topped off is plenty for SD purposes. Even for 2 attackers, now for riot or mob protection then the G19,17, or 34 would better be suited. Bless you Sir
@@deltaforcereviews I got my Glock 43 today and couldn’t be happier with my choice. While I was at the shop I did checkout and compare it with the 43x and for my body size….the 43 was a no brainer. I can’t wait to take it to the range and put some rounds through it. Also got lucky that my local shop had the Pearce plus 1 mag extensions in stock. Thanks again for the great review.
Odd, but right out of the box I can shoot that small gun as well as any gun I have ever owned. My Glock 19 was the best over other fine guns - HK, FN, Ruger, S&W, SA - but my new 43 is as good or better. Must just fit my hand right.
I have the 43 and the 19 gen 5. But ima left handed so I prefer the 19. But the 43 it is comfortable to conceal and carry. I also have plus 2 extensions from the glock store. But for some reason it's hard to cocked the slide back when put the plus 2

Is that Cerekote or factory green frame. I'd love to get my 43 Cerekoted &give it 8 rounds with Pearce +1 base. Have the 43X but carry it in cold weather & 43 in summer.
@@deltaforcereviews A lot of earlier US reviews show the 43 as an Austria built gun. They must have switched production for US customers at some point since the gun was introduced in 2015.
It’s slimmer than all of those mentioned. I think the ‘thinness’ of a gun makes it more concealable therefore I believe the G43 to be a better concealed summer carry.
@@deltaforcereviews I love the 43, because it can be a good all around carry gun. I have a good IWB holster, and a good ankle holster for those pesky "gun free zone" businesses.
I have a 43X and a Shield Plus and am now back to carrying my 43 every day. Lighter, easier to conceal. If I am going into a warzone I would bring my 19 or my 92FS.

That’s great to hear your loving your 43. Nothing conceals as nice with 7 rounds of 9mm
Great video I love my Glock 43 and is my EDC for summer carry !!!
Your absolutely right

Exactly… If you can’t hit a threat with 1-3 rounds you should NOT be carrying.
I agree. I can rapid fire all 6 rounds in a hand sized grouping at 7 yards with my 43. That is sufficient.

Same sir I LOVE the 43.

I got the same, agree on all your points
My usual carry is my P365XL Spectre. But when I want deeper concealment I roll with the 43
I hear great things about the sig 365s
Just bought one today
What are the sights on your 43?
Man i’m glad you cleared that gun. That could have been tragic
First rule in safety. Know the state of your firearm and clear always before handling… Glad military service and training is still embedded in me😁

Those are nice Carries, take care and stay safe.
Great review! How would you say it shoots compared to the 43x?
Also, you have a soothing voice. Be well.
It’s more concealable than a 43x but recoil is a bit more. I like the 43 for deep conceal if I want bigger I go 19.
i just change the sights on my glocks 100% reliable when will guys learn leave glock stock
Thicker in grip not slide 43 slide is same as 43x slide
Has anyone found any differences in a USA vs Austria built 43? In my area all that are being sold are USA.
I’ve never seen a G43 made from Austria . I believe the G43X has an Austria made variant
