      @Don Riller Everyone on earth is african. You've been lied to that there are separate races.

    • @myjciskate4
      @myjciskate4 Před 5 lety +4

      @Don Riller Take a look at the evidence. You don't have to believe me or even the scientific community. Modern scientific consensus is strongly against the race concept. No consistent patterns of genes across the human genome exist to distinguish one race from another. There also is no genetic basis for divisions of human ethnicity. The biological evidence for racialism has always been relatively weak, and modern evidence conclusively shows that racialism is fundamentally flawed. Biological variability exists but this variability does not conform to the discrete packages labeled races. Boundaries between what have been called races are completely arbitrary, depending primarily upon the wishes of the classifier. It should be clear that scientists disagree with the race concept. They do so because of anthropological and genetic evidence. No one has a "birthright" to a continent. You don't have a "birthright" to a continent any more than anyone else does. There is no such thing as race.

    • @myjciskate4
      @myjciskate4 Před 5 lety +2

      @Don Riller "Yeah I'll stick to believing my own eyes and my experience of the world rather than the latest new fad that people like you have fallen for and love to parrot."
      - Yeah, they have a word for that. It's called confirmation bias. I'm not "parroting" a "fad". I'm telling you what the scientific evidence is. DNA studies do not indicate that separate classifiable subspecies (what you like to call "races") exist within modern humans. While different genes for physical traits such as skin and hair color can be identified between individuals, no consistent patterns of genes across the human genome exist to distinguish one race from another. There also is no genetic basis for divisions of human ethnicity.
      "Does include the one you originated from?"
      - Yes, it does.
      "Because i bet the behavior if its people suggest they do believe in birthright."
      - Even if a large amount of people think that there is such thing as a ridiculous thing as "continental birthright", it doesn't make it true.
      You keep talking out your ass about race not existing. Im sure it will catch on one day. LOL"
      - Well, the good thing about science is that its true whether or not you believe it. I'm not "talking out of my ass." I'm telling you what the science is. There is no such thing as race. When people speak about race, usually they seem to be referring to skin color and, at the same time, to something more than skin color. This is the legacy of people such as Morton, who developed the “science” of race to suit his own prejudices and got the actual science totally wrong. Science today tells us that the visible differences between peoples are accidents of history. They reflect how our ancestors dealt with sun exposure, and not much else.

    I remember the day Nelson Mandela was released from Prison, I was with friends and it was like a sporting event, the house was full, food, drink, screaming.... 20+ yrs earlier I remember my mother reacting to MLK being killed... amazing what my generation has witnessed

    She's somehow right about the miserable thing. Though they are just movies, it's hard to imagine her as warm, inviting, and easy to get along with (at least to me), because of the roles she's played.

    “Tully” is one of my favourite films of 2018. IMO, the character is Charlize’s best performance after “Monster”. She makes Tully a very believable, grounded character we all can relate. The twist is heartbreaking, but it is something we can understand, because that is secretly what we wish to happen.

    I had no idea the making of "monster" was this wild and risky! To think that this classic of movie history, that ended up being one of the best movies I've ever seen, had to be fought for so hard in order to get to theaters is crazy. What a fucked up world we live in.

    • @jesushateswood
      @jesushateswood Před 5 lety +1

      I wanted to see Monster. This is before I discovered I dislike Charlize. She just irritates me. Anyway, the serial killer which whom the film is based actually got to see the film. When asked what she thought, the real killer smiled and said, "It was a good STORY. However, a LOT of the things shown in the film were NOT from my life." They fictionalized the story. That maybe fine for some people but I hate that sh*t.

      @@jesushateswood why u lying honey? the serial killer Aileen Wuornos died October 9, 2002. The movie ‘Monster’ about her story, wasn’t release until December 24, 2003. So, i’m pretty sure your sources are crap, or, maybe you are making things up.
