- Delicate Dutch Pour - Metallic Split Base - Acrylic Pour
Its not often I play around with the Dutch pour technique and I wanted to create something different. Its such a delicate piece! The Rustoleum Metallic Sea Shell split base dried so beautifully with its own visible movement. I will definitely be using this again! Thank You Cathleen of Coz Creations!!

I’ve never used Rustoleums before but now we have to try them! Lol. What a stunning delicate pour and then your added embellishment changed it. Loved it! Stunning
The Bam took it to another level! 💕
Loved this Dutch pour. Colours lovely and soft on the dark background.
Reminds me of spring! Everything is dark and the promise of blooms! Love it, really took it up a notch when you added the pink...
Lovely softness with delicate cells and edges!! Using the little bottles was a good idea too! Definitely I wanna try!!
Loved the added pink. It maintained its delicate nature but added a bit of pop !
Came out beautiful. Love how soft it looks. The pink added the little touch of color it needed.
Thank you
Beautiful pastel effect with the added pop of the magenta!! 💖💖
I want to try this Rustoleum. What a beautifull piece as always. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Looks fabulous.
Beautiful painting, so soft and whispy. 🥰🇦🇺
Beautiful! I love the wispiness of the petals.
Thanks Sarah
I love your little blue dryer it is so cute!
WOW this reminds me of wild jellyfish! Beautiful 💖💖💖👏👏👏
Beautiful! I love how you embellished with the pink. Thanks!
Love the pink accents...really beautiful.
Am really loving the delicate colors. Very interesting.

Thank you Amy! I love them!
So soft and delicate. I love it, Sarah!
Turned out nice!I like how u added a dash of color at the end!
I can’t believe you were nervous, Sarah! You nailed it👏🏼 And I’m not surprised😁 I like that the colors were soft in this piece. It is a welcome change from some of the vivid bold colors I often see in Dutch Pours-which are great as well. Your embellishments with the “fluorescent pink(?)” are perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! Be happy and be well!
Beautiful piece! 😍👏
So so pretty! The sign of a good pour artist to me is trying different techniques and having them work! You have an eye for technique and composition as well as do your homework on recipes and consistency. I absolutely love watching you in your process. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Thank you so much Tara! You also have been quite successful!
@@SarahMackArt Thanks Sarah. Any success I have had is due to the excellent CZcams artists like yourself always being so willing to share your tricks of the trade. ☺️
Ahhhhh....I am going to try some soon!
Love that you added the dark pink. Learned from you today! Thanks

I’ve had success finding Rustoleum at Lowe’s.
Wow! Beautiful! Love the colors.
Thank you 💕
Absolutely beautiful, that little pink you added at the end was brilliant idea I love itttt😻😻😻
Thank you!
Slow to come around, but when it did....OMG....it’s gorgeous, love the colors and of course, your tweaking, for the crowning touch❗️😍
Thank you ☺️
Beautiful Sara. I have been concerned about the rustoleum in a dutch pour as well. You rocked it❤️
Love how that hairdryer works. Wondering if when u use less paint with the colours how it would turn out if you just blew the colours without folding them with the base. It is pretty very soft. So soft that I couldn’t see it until you did the close up but really love how this turned out
Really beautiful work, & great instincts with the ‘pink’ addition. I love the interplay & how it directs my eye.
Gorgeous! 😍
Your painting is gorgeous 😍 thank you for sharing this ❤
Thank you
Wow stunning beautiful ❤️
Beautiful
Absolutely wonderful Sarah, very kind of Kathleen. A very good friend ❤️
Thank you so much ☺️
Sarah, you created a beautiful, soft dutch blow-out! The movement in the Rust-Oleum's 'Seashell" is really cool. And I love that you lightly embellished with Blick's Fluorescent Violet.
Gosh, Cathleen is a wonderful friend!! The Rust-Oleum's Metallic Accent paints are awesome! I first used them in 2014 while in Illinois for 5 months. I found them at Menards. Sadly, no one in So. California sells the Metallic Accents line, Menards cannot ship them to California, and Amazon charges double for them😣. Luckily, I have family and friends in Illinois who periodically will ship these paints to me. I know it's our tough environmental laws that prohibit the sales here; however, I screen and filter out the acrylic paints from ALL of my cleaning water and put the paint chips into used paint cans, and then take them to our Hazardous Waste site.
Dang, I didn't see anything about your Premier (grrrrrr CZcams and NO notifications!!!) so I'm sorry that I missed yours and everyone else's. I hope to catch the next ones. Big hugs ~Cheryl
Bedtime but not before watching Sarah 😊
Awww sleep well! Thank you ☺️

So pretty, Sarah!!!!
Worth waiting for!
Thank you so much!
Rustoleum metallic paint can be found at Menards in the Midwest.
Oh I love it
Lovely - like Kanella I don't blow the colour over itself anymore because I ended up with more black than the colours. 😆
This is beautiful, Sarah! Like the contrasting background colors that blew out so softly in the middle.
Beautiful😎❣️
I really like it colors are awesome 👌 great job 🙂

💕
Super schönes Bild 👍👍👍. Tolle Farbkombination. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland,Tanja 😍
Thank you so much
pretty
It looks like there was black trails up the entire canvas at one point. Did you eliminate them ?
No not at all. I think with the metallic paint you can see folds and movement in the paint and when wet maybe they seem darker
I have to ask about your hair dryer... I bought it, but it doesn't have a cool button so do you have any issues blowing out your paints with hot only??
No not at all
A pole! Can we dance? Oh, never mind spelling! Let’s dance!
How did you get all those cells with water
Nice 🇩🇰❤️
❤️🖍🖍🖍🤩💥👍🏻
I think black ate the colors but it's a pretty result
Beautiful piece Sarah! I love how you are not afraid to embellish your paintings. That seashell paint sure dried nicely with lots of texture. ❤️
Never have been! 😁 the ninja swipes have a ton of embellishments. Those are my favorite to embellish
Hope your girls are better soon. 💜
Beautiful and soft colors. I love it!
