That jumpsuit is the Aloha from Hawaii, it is the top of the line of all his suits. He had a 33 inch waist in 1973. You need to watch the whole concert, he wanted to raise $25,000, ( which was a lot of money in that time ), for a cancer foundation. They raised $75,000 from that concert.
It was the first time anything had been broadcast around the world by satellite, never done before this.
Watch all his movies and see him sing so many beautiful love songs, as well as other songs he did, rock, comedy, country, etc..
    Enjoy your Elvis journey.

What now my love ..... Two Recordings .... Both from ..... Aloha From Hawaii ..... The rehearsal show live and the live show that went out first in 1973 ..... Not sure you know ..... But .....There are two filming of THE ALOHA FROM HAWAII Special that happened ..... And that over 1 1/2 billion { with a B } though satellite around the world at that time watched it ..... Never attempted before ..... ELVIS WAS THE FIRST SOLO PERFORMER EVER ..... To do a satellite show ..... And I guess it should be watched and now an ungodly amount sense then ..... Think about this ..... How many of the 11/2 Billion back then could not speak English ..... And the ungodly scene ..... {MIND BLOWING } Isn't it ..... For instance, here is "what now my love" filmed recordings of the 1973 Hawaii show ..... The rehearsal show ..... And the show that aired .....What Now My Love {Both shows a filled to capacity in Hawaii ..... Both Recorded only one the Second show aired } ..... for instance ..... Here is the rehearsal of the song ..... What Now My Love ..... czcams.com/video/jhRFj8__US8/video.html ..... The one you just did ..... And here is the show ..... czcams.com/video/UpjKlOM7KQ4/video.html ..... The endings are different ..... But both sound the same till then ..... What a talent ..... Who else but Elvis .... Could do two life performances and sound the same Both till he changed the ending on them .... Both are a gift from Elvis ..... Both are a gift from the king ..... Once Elvis sings it ..... Anyone else's recording fades away ..... Heard this over and over ..... And I still listen all the way though ..... Listening to Elvis singing has all-ways lifted up my life ..... No matter how much it sucked ..... He is my brother and my greatest friend ..... Well ..... And he will all-ways will be ..... Elvis is Elvis ..... What more can one say ..... NOTE: ..... And he did these things for the people in need ..... In 1961, he performed a concert to build the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor and raised more than $65,000. And 12 years later, Elvis donated the proceeds from his 1973 “Aloha from Hawaii” satellite-concert to the Kui Lee cancer fund..... Raised $75,000 ..... And he did it for all the world ..... Here is that link ..... www.iheartelvis.net/elvis-pictures/elvis-his-generosity-was-amazing ...... Who else but Elvis .... Could do two life performances and sound the same Both till he changed the ending on them .... Both are a gift from Elvis ..... I saw Elvis lots of times live ..... Never paid over $10.00 a ticket ..... Elvis said ..... He would never make anyone pay too much to see him ..... And he never did ..... Let's see if one now does that ..... People pay a-lot more now for a-lot less ..... Once you know Elvis ..... You'll know true talent ..... No Brag ..... Just Fact ..... PERIOD .....

Good reaction my friend, this is my favourite song from the show , this was from his rehearsal show which was done 12 January 1973 and then the actual aloha from hawaii on 14 January been listening to what now my love for nearly 50 year's and still gives me a thrill . The actual concert was watched by 1.5 billion people in that period of time there was only about 3.5 people in the world now there's probably 7 billion . When you look at his jumpsuit for the rehearsal and the aloha concert you would think he wore it twice actually he had 2 different jumpsuits .

So, where did Elvis get the emotion, the intesity, and the connection to this song from? The Aloha from Hawaii concert was filmed in January 1973. Elvis and Priscilla filed for divorce in August 1972...just five months prior. According to Joe Moscheo of the Imperials, the failure of Elvis's marriage "was a blow from which he never recovered". I believe Elvis was letting all of that pain burst out of him on stage. And from that, we have this masterpiece performance.

      Sorry........that was only a rhetorical question! 🤭
First of all......i didn't ask if he was lonely, i asked myself what he was thinking while singing this song!
Next.... I always thought that Priscilla left him and not the other way around.
And i think that she thinks the same!

He had other women before his marriage, during and after. But Priscilla was there ( at Graceland) till the day she left.

His wife left him for another man in 1972, the divorce was final in 1973, the same year he sang this song.
This began a long spiral of self destructive behavior, leading to his death in 1977. Such a hauntingly beautiful preformance, Elvis really felt it.
    Please React to....SONG:
    "IT'S MIDNIGHT"
    czcams.com/video/YZaFihDRjZs/video.html
    Although the studio version of
    "IT'S MIDNIGHT"
is technically better, this live version is very special.
When Elvis sang this song live in Sept. of 1974, Priscilla was at the preformance, they had been divorced for a year. Priscilla was sitting near the stage and he sang the song directly to her. As the song begins...You'll hear him say "Listen Cilla", then mid song he says...its midnight, better look CiCi. Sadly they never got back together, nor did either re Marry.

Diana by the age of 18 we have about 70 victories in various vocal competitions. Hardly anyone at all has such an achievement by the age of 18. As for this song, Elvis himself did only a cover of this old song. The melody is based on "Plaisir d'amour", [4] a popular French love song composed in 1784 by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini.
Seriously though, there is little in common between the Elvis cover and the one performed by Diana. Just search for Dark Version with the same song name.
Diana's version is the version of the composer Tommee Profitt, the melody of the song is shifted to a minor key and a modern arrangement is made.

@@monolit73 I remind you, while she was in competition, Elvis and his family were living in the ghetto , barely surviving. Elvis was working as a child to help pay the bills and buy food. There was no social media or any thing like that then. He is the one who made it possible for all entertainers today to sing modern music. . When he was eighteen he was driving 700 miles a day to get to the next venue , riding in broken down cars and even bartering for gas to get to the next gig. Since he and his band made so little money, they spent most on gas and car maintenace. He had two cars to burn up on the road to another gig. At his venues, the fans generously fed them because they had no money. Elvis dad went to prison when he was three. He and his mom lost their home and thus lived from family member home to the other. The black community even pitched in to keep them fed. By age nineteen he became the most known human on earth when his first national hit started a change in popular music and he set cultures around the world afire with his music and his style of dress, hair dance, personality. So while most entertainers had well fed bellies and had opportunities to win awards because they had the means to travel to the competitions, Elvis was trying to figure out where his next meal came from. So your entertainer at 18 won awards. At age 19 Elvis became the best known person in the world and became a multimillionaire. At age 21 he became the highest paid actor of his time. So as far as awards go, Paul McCartney visited Graceland and remarked how many many awards Elvis had than four Beatles combined. He was awed. No singer will ever match Elvis. At age 20 just by asking people to send money to the Ukraine refugees on the Ed Sullivan show, the equivalent of $50 million in today's money was delivered to them by the US army who did not know the money came from Elvis. In 2011, Elvis was named honorary citizen of the Ukraine. As for the song here, he sang it at the end of every show as a tribute to them for his love of them.He also sang it in his movie Blue Hawaii. Elvis was a loving man. He did not bring darkness to the world. He brought them warmth, kindness and sunshine..joy..not darkness. Oh, Elvis was a child pridigy, singing at age two. He also had a photogdaphic memory and is k own worldwide as the best looking human to ever live.

Glad you can appreciate real music👍Edit:…I was wrong! I loved your reaction👍I saw him live in concert twice when I was little.

This really was a French song written in 1961: from Wikipedia: "" is the English title of a popular song whose original French version, "" (English: "And Now") was written in 1961 by composer Gilbert Bécaud and lyricist Pierre Delanoë. The recurring musical pattern in the background is the Boléro by Ravel. English lyrics and the title were written by Carl Sigman
