You inspired me to pick up my gouache, your art is beautiful and I'm so glad I've found your channel. I'm mainly a digital artist but traditional art has always been soothing in a way to me and I've never given it a proper go so maybe now it's my time.
Also, thank you for reminding me of my love for yoga. I used to practice it all the time until a couple of years ago and not sure why I stopped. I have scoliosis as well and it helped me a lot with back pain, so definitely something I should reincorporate in my life.

I'm really fascinated by the way you paint. Most of the people I follow do straight ahead watercolor or gouache-meaning landscapes or portraits. Personally, I'm finding my way around (haven't been painting long) in an abstract style and really enjoying the freedom it gives me. And your style is so different, and you're so good at it, that I see things I want to learn. Your videos are totally unique. Thank you for sharing your skills, and your positive viewpoints :)

You should get some cheap chalk soft pastels… they’re cheap and great for the colouring part of those sauces instead of using your watercolour…. Or even for brushing on extra colour on the pancakes at the end too :) Cheap eyeshadow/makeup works too :)

Hello Allison! A new fellow subscriber here - I'm 14, and have this desire to start painting using the medium, gouache (Opaque Watercolor). I have researched about it, and kinda diffident to start, because I have no idea how to.
I found your stories about balance quite detailed, and I find it interesting too. So it made me realize that if you teach art, it would be wonderful for beginners like me, as you explain it well!
