@@ayalove6285 Learning how to process trauma and derive personal growth and improvement from it is VITAL for growing up to be a functional, sane human being.
My dad used to be an idiot when I was little, he tried the "tough love" sort of discipline - I would get the belt, and time out in a dark closet for not doing chores, cheating on tests at school, and one time even for giving him sass.
He realised he went too far a little later on, and deeply apologised to me, and I forgave him. He never did it again. That left me traumatised, but I worked out that trauma in my head and did not allow it to stop me.
I have other examples of different traumas, but it's not necessary to share them at this time, and I don't want anybody's God damned pity.
The point is, feeling sorry for yourself and whining DOES NOT HELP. Being a victim and acting like one DOES NOT HELP.
It makes you weak, it gives you excuses to be lazy and a coward in every aspect of your life, from morality, hygiene, prioritizing tasks, to work ethic, recognising what is a good habit, what is a bad habit, mate selection, abstaining from excess in all things - in short, victimhood RUINS YOUR LIFE.
Take responsibility for your own self, your actions and your future. You must live your life, and make yourself the best version of yourself that you can be, and have the best life that you can make for yourself.
Nobody else can do that for you but YOURSELF. And without discipline and personal responsibility, you will have NOTHING.

When your freedom of speech is taken away because of a perceived "right" my question becomes, "What about MY rights? " Can I not voice my opinion not on your f**king job without fear of reprisal? Their answer was NO you cannot. However, after being terminated all people involved has since moved on by whatever reason's of which I care not, but, it just shows that there is a force in the universe that balances all this out. I know what I call it, but, you decide for yourself what you wish to call it. Since then I have had 2 other jobs each one paying more than the one I left previously. If that is not justification of right I do not know what is.
Some companies even want you to report poor behavior even at a bar (where a lot of folks lose their inhibitions with alcohol and speak candidly and openly) that then opens said person up to an HR review and possible further actions. To me if a company is sponsoring an event ANYWHERE that serves alcohol, then there needs to be a refrain from this BS.
How can anyone trust their own employer's that would do such a thing as this. It is inhuman. Especially if someone is not driving and already made arrangements to ride with a Designated driver that refrains from Alcohol use themself. That IS WHAT BEING RESPONSIBLE MEANS. I personally REFUSE to participate in any event now that is sponsored by my employer for self preservation. I am OLD School and have never once professed or pretend to be Politically Correct. To continue to insist and persist in the false claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen is itself an affront to our democracy and to the Constitution of the United States - an affront without precedent.
Those who think that because America is a republic, theft and corruption of our national elections and electoral process are not theft and corruption of our democracy are sorely mistaken. America is both a republic and a representative democracy, and therefore a sustained attack on our national elections is a fortiori an attack on our democracy, any political theory otherwise notwithstanding.
Accordingly, if, and when, one of our national elections is actually stolen from us, our democracy will have been stolen from us. To steal an election in the United States of America is to steal her democracy."

just so that they won't sue the honest workers who are the only thing holding up the entire Firm from going bankrupt.
