trust me those orcas don’t have love for the trainers.
@@keshiahadababy if they didnt, they would not comply to the trainers. theres some sort of trust when theure in a vulnerable position like when the trainer is on the whales tummy

As amazing as this is, I still find it heart breaking that every show they force their orcas to look out to the open ocean while they perform.

They don’t force them, also how do they abuse them I promise you I have all the answers
They are very strong in the wild and these trainers are teaching the orca like a dog doing tricks

I agree, but if you actually go there, there are separate tanks at the back for each of them. Also, the orcas are endangered so doing this and keeping them healthy is kinda a good thing. Also they get free fish!

@@user-wy4of4cl1x they are endangered because people keep hunting them. These captive orcas only increase the demand for more wild caught orcas. Also, breeding in captivity of orcas doesn’t really work and captive orcas don’t get as old as their wild counterparts. So no, this is not a good thing.

It's actually great that the ocean is so close. It means they can pump water directly from the ocean into the tanks (after a bit of filtering) so it's much better for the Orcas.

I do notice that I do not see any collapsed dorsal fins.......👀👀👀 That must be a good sign
They are all females which is why they have straight dorsals. In the past they had a few males Oscar and Bingo (who all passed away) that had collapsed dorsals.

Everyone is saying this is a tiny pool. It is. If anyone wanted to start a go fund me I’d donate whatever it took to expand this enclosure. I bet we could raise any number. It’s cruel, but anything to help them be more comfortable.
That said it’s AWESOME to see trainers swimming with Orcas! Amazing show, and I think these orcas have unique personalities. They enjoy hamming it up. They’re a little more extroverted 😂
They need to get the orcas in an Animal sanctuary, and then to the ocean. No tank is going to be big enough . Just don’t go.

I can’t say I’m a huge supporter of this facility, (yes I am a sw supporter but I’m not a fan of any place that buys or bought from the dolphin slaughter).. but the bond the trainers have amazing relationships with the whales!

Do you go there to protest the inhumane practice of orcas in captivity. Basically a tiny prison without a roof that they can’t ever leave.

Only positiv thing is this video is that the trainers seem to have a bounding and some love for the wales. Captivity on the other hand is a shame, but mostly we should blame the organisation who biulds pools like this and are catching or buying orcas! Even as you see in blackfish documentary, the most of the trainers cared about the wales but would not do this again with the knowledge they have today

Absolutely horrible. Orcas should swim 100 miles a day with their families not be stuck in a swimming pool alone. Breeding is being phased out in the US. Now the rest of the world has to catch up. Please do your own research! Don’t buy a ticket. Captivity kills.
