    You are doing great.. But there is a step of Jackson CC known as “need of Cylinder”. Instead of using 0.50cyl apply JCC in two positions. Suppose red dot on 45 (checking cyl 90 and 180) and red dot on 90 (checking axis 45 and 135).

    It is just easier to measure my own refraction, with my own test lenses. Less expensive, also.
