The hotel accommodates "normal" guests as well. If it should come to pass that the hotel is deconsecrated, such guests are...kindly asked to leave...as quickly as possible.
In JW3, right after the deconsecrated order is carried out, the hotel announces a fumigation operation is in progress and that all people must leave (for the non-assassins, aka normal people)
We know how you get your membership revoked but how do you get membership to the continental in the first place? Do you have to apply for one? Are you offered one after getting a reputation? Or is it just knowing the write group of people?

on a secondary note, if a contractor were to receive a "marker" (which are overseen and maintained by the continental) or official blood oath, to kill the person who holds the marker what happens? the rules are if you refuse to fulfill the contract, every available contractor gets to try to kill you, and your excommunicated, and if you kill the person who holds the marker every available contractor goes after you and your excommunicated. also if you had a marker called in to kill a member of the high table which is more powerful, the high table which seems to organize and manage contractors around the world, or the continental which houses and supplies those contractors? wouldnt the elder one have a rule against contracts against sitting members of this council so they dont all just start ordering hits on one and other?

We all know the one rule of The Continental is no killing inside. I wonder if killing is allowed outside on the streets nearby. John followed that rule, so Ms. Perkins didn’t even she failed to kill him. So she was killed and disposed. That makes total sense. John broke that rule when he killed Santino for trying to kill him(which only destroyed his house and all his possessions) given that John was pissed about that. John went on a killing spree in New York and in Rome, all because some assholes decided to break into his house, beat him down, kill his dog and steal his car. They all deserved to die.
