    A developer confirmed that DoTs don't crit, but the things applying them (no matter the element) do

      @user-sg2es3jo6i Před 6 měsíci

      well, the numbers os the dots do get bigger, both in size/color (the same as any crits in this game) and in absolute numbers
      so thats really weird

    • @pkartkat1306

      @@user-sg2es3jo6ithat's mainly due to how they work, the weapons that apply them add stacks to the enemy.
      I believe the larger the stack the higher the damage

      @Ishlacorrin Před 6 měsíci +2

      @@pkartkat1306 That does seem to be accurate, as far as I can see all of the DoT 'Crits' seem to be a multiple of the base damage 17/34, 16/32 etc. That would suggest that some of them have 1 stack and others have 2.

    The clip size overclock on the axes is great. 6 push-backs rather than 3 as well as 2x damage. Also takes longer for them to do the pull-back. Check the axe DPS after a run and you'll be more into them. Don't worry though you'll definitely clear the level once you aren't forced to waste so many points going beyond the last overclock on a weapon. You would have the Stun Sweeper almost maxed out if it weren't for the grenade mission.

    Leadburster grenade is the most overpowered throwable in the game, I'd almost go as far as saying it's one of the strongest weapons overall in the game. As soon as you get 3x Grenade overclock and piercing shots, that shit will cut through any horde and elites coming your way.

    • @DrinkingDuckDexter
      @DrinkingDuckDexter Před 6 měsíci

      Did they change how it hits at all? Whenever I used it I noticed if it landed on a wall the bullets it launched would just go over the bugs and not hit them.

    I think a fun concept would be once you've overclocked every weapon you unlock a game mode where your starting weapon is random and so are the upgrades you get from levelling, a completely random run, you choose difficulty. could even add a leaderboard to it for fun

    On the note of the base movement speed from 5:40, I actually think the devs should raise it by like x1.5-x2, even if they raised the mobs movement speed too. I dropped the game until it's more balanced because it felt like everything was moving tooooo slowly.

    Axe actually is a very good weapon. only problem is that it pulls mobs in the direction it flies. So when it returns to you it can actually pull stuff into you which hurts plenty.

    For final floor, best to save supply drop to hit boss. It chunks ~50% of his health even on Havoc 5 - and, unless you are exceptionally strong, you really need that to win the DPS race against being overrun.

      he'd have also done better if he had continued to circle in a more confined area where his effects could stack up instead of the massive loops that he pushed into. Not only does it manage the horde better but better puts the damage on the boss for this type of build.

  • @oygemprime3864
    @oygemprime3864 Před 6 měsíci

    The fire turrets are *really* good, from what we've seen. They just add so much damage to the horde, and you don't need to be near them for them to be thinning it out.

    Move speed is basically the rarest upgrade, that's part of why pickled nitra sucks. Woulda been better off with the gold is damage thing.

  • @mathiasb2616
    @mathiasb2616 Před 6 měsíci

    Pickled nitra is 2% per nitra not 1%. It's pretty OP. So when you had 90 nitra you had 180% damage.

    The problem with the knockback on the axes is that they have knockback in BOTH directions, meaning they can pull enemies into you on their return trip.

    Loot bugs being able to take damage from weapons/environment, 3 main weapon slots and a meta progression throwable/grenade, a loadout mode where you preselect your weapon in an endless mode, meta progression to boost your starting droid, an active special for each class, daily/weekly missions for cosmetics.
    These are some things I would like to see. Gives more variety and quality of life.

    Have you ever done a run where you only pick up the absolute best upgrade on each level up and don't really focus on any particular weapon? Cause I'm wondering how a run like that would go. Work it work? Or is it crucial to focus on getting certain weapons leveled up enough for their over clocks?

    • @derAtze
      @derAtze Před 6 měsíci

      It is not per se needed to focus on one weapon, but it's not unimportant to be somewhat intentional with which stats exactly you upgrade. Having a weapon with 0,5 sec reload time doesn't need 150% reloadspeed, but dmg and fire rate. So you might even want to skip a legendary upgrade for a rare one where you can really use the stat up.
      Also the stats buff each other, and the dps boost of one stat gets lower the higher that stat already is. So sometimes you get more dps out of taking a less high ranked upgrade over another.
