If you must have a head-up display, massaging seats, soft-close doors or 4-wheel steering you don't want an Aston Martin. But if you want fine craftmanship in an SUV that turns heads - you could be DBX material my friend! Ask any Aston Martin owner - the closer you look, the closer you wanna get.

One of the best presentations for the DBX I have come across. It is in my opinion the most exciting car, let alone an SUV, I know of. Aston Martin are in a separate class. I have only seen 2 in London in the last 6 months!!
Miles you forgot to mention amg g63 as one of this vehicle’s competitors. In my area people would rather choose the g63 or urus for similar price point. This car isn’t selling even though it’s a good car
I did neglect to mention the G63, you are correct. I typically just choose a sampling of 2-3 competitors vehicles but my breakdown doesn’t cover everything in the segment. If it’s between the DBX and the G63, I’d choose this for its exterior and interior design.

I was about to jump on you about the bonnet release catch and say it's nearly always in the passenger side. However, that's because I've owned mainly Mercs and BMWs and they were doing the same as Aston, or not doing, as the case may be. I honestly thought that bonnet/hood release catches were in the passenger compartment on all cars.

I saw 15 mpg from my week of driving (not much highway mileage). The Cayenne Turbo S Hybrid makes more power, but I still believe the DBX is more special to drive every day
Alpina XB7 is a three-row, so it's not a perfectly equal comparison. I think the DBX is more beautiful and has a better soundtrack, but the XB7 is startlingly quick for a 3 row SUV and does have massaging seats (unlike the DBX)
@@MilesPerHr Well that may be somewhat true, it may not necessarily look bad but think about it its the highest caliper of sports luxury, quad exaust will only add to the visual aesthetics, all its competitors Lambo Urus, Bentayga speed, maserati lavante trofeo, stelvio quadrifolgio all gets it, no reason for the dbx to not have it!!!!

It is an imposter in this segment and all of the competitors are better overall. Also, while beauty is in the eye of the beholder, this is in NO way the most beautiful SUV in the world. People looking for exclusivity in this segment can get any of the numberous versions of the Porsche Cayenne (BTW...the Porsche Cayenne coupe is way more beautiful) because that car is of a similar price point any Literally beats this car in EVERY category.
To me, this is the most gorgeous suv I have ever seen...hoping to get one like this in the near future. I would pick the red color though.
