FREE! Cork Chapstick Holder

In this video I'll walk you through making my FREE cork chapstick holder! You can modify the size for pretty much anything you like to have easy access to. Supplies & cutting information are included in the video. All you need is a few scraps of cork (or other non-fraying materials) and a swivel hook plus your basic sewing supplies.
The techniques used in this video are what I have found works best for me. Try them out and see what works for you!

Question about best presser foot to use with cork and faux leather/vinyl- I use a Teflon presser foot. You don’t and just wondering the difference. I use a janome HD3000

A Teflon foot is also referred to as a non-stick foot. This works best with anything like vinyl or leather that can stick to your regular foot making it harder to move. I don’t find that cork does so I don’t use a Teflon foot when sewing cork.
