FREE! Cork Chapstick Holder

- In this video I'll walk you through making my FREE cork chapstick holder! You can modify the size for pretty much anything you like to have easy access to. Supplies & cutting information are included in the video. All you need is a few scraps of cork (or other non-fraying materials) and a swivel hook plus your basic sewing supplies.
The techniques used in this video are what I have found works best for me. Try them out and see what works for you!

Question about best presser foot to use with cork and faux leather/vinyl- I use a Teflon presser foot. You don’t and just wondering the difference. I use a janome HD3000
A Teflon foot is also referred to as a non-stick foot. This works best with anything like vinyl or leather that can stick to your regular foot making it harder to move. I don’t find that cork does so I don’t use a Teflon foot when sewing cork.
