When the Templar asked the Sororitas if she would help him reminds me a lot of Grimaldus speaking to the Titan Pilot and the Sororitas in Helsreach.

Isn't there like over 10 000 Black Templars at this point? They are practically a legion but not in name, no home world either, just a mighty fleet and flagship, on an endless crusade among the stars.

@@cn9707 only the high marshal knows for sure but 3-6 k is far to small for how many fleets they claim to have, common theory’s I’ve heard is around 13k

You know Rho, I'd like to see your Miniatures collection. After all, we so often hear you say, "Man, I need to get me some Salamanders/Custodes/Sisters/Iron Warriors" etc.
If you're to do a Sister's of Battle week would you consider doing the Saints i feel like their lore is not very well represented and I think you could do a hell of a job presenting them well.
The problem with that is there really isn’t a ton of information on most of the saints, with just Katherine and Alicia having more than a blurb or too written about them.

Sisters of Battle week sounds like a good follow-up to Black Templars.

I also made a black tempalrs army with the indomitius box. 2 actually lol. I have read helreach and the end of that was amazing in the final battle. They are awesome.
I think the 3 things that make this session perfect is the templars , sisters of battles and rho's narration .

The templar week might be over, but the Eternal Crusade persists. It makes a lot of sense too, the Imperium is a horrible mess that is constantly under siege. Space marines are way too effective and their numbers far too small to simply standby in their fortress worlds, being proactive is the only way they stand a chance of managing the disarray of it all.

I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of the Black Templars, but after this, I think I may have to build a Templar Killteam to go along side my Wolves. Many thanks milord Rho!
Love the combination. What would be interesting would be teaming up a Chapter that does not think the Emperor is Devine (aka Space Wolves) with the Sisters and though different eyes they find out they both serve. It could lead to some very interesting interactions.
The Space Wolves would very much try to Flirt with the Sisters.

sisters + sons of the phoenix could make a good mix since, canonically, the faithful follow around the sons on a sort of pilgrimage/missionary work thing. They're also both fond of flamers.

After watching the first few Helsreach videos on youtube, I Immediately bought the audiobook and spent the next 12 hours listening to the entire thing lol. Out of all the iconic moments like the one your talking about, when they make their last stand at that church at the end, there's this part right after the orks bust in and right before everyone starts dying where Grimaldus stops fighting, grabs an ork by the neck and raises it up with one arm and holds it there. Then he just starts laughing at it, while everyone's fighting for their lives lol. He's laughing his ass off and making fun of it, lol talking mad shit. Out of all the cool shit in Helsreach, that's the part that stuck with me the most.
When they're screaming for the apothecary when the emperors champion dies and the apothecary's end is the most fucking metal thing I've ever seen

The Indomitus set has ultramarines , blood and dark angel and space wolves . I want to do templars too. I got mine two days ago. Not sure how I'm going to do it . but by the emperor miracles happen by his will alone. Loved templar week . I would love a sisters of battle week , you have a vote from me !

The Emperor's Champion is probably one of the coolest features of the Black Templars, taking into account the peculiarities. The most interesting detail in my opinion is the chain, a habit taken from the World Eaters by Sigismund while he was fighting in their pits (and kicking arse, since only Savatar was able to best him and only via an illegal move). Hopefully the Templars and the World Eaters will face each other one day because that fight will truly be legendary

Yes please, do a Sister of Battle week. I'm currently showing my wife the way of the grim dark future of the 40k universe and the Sisters are an amazing light within the dark.

How often would a emperors champion survive a engagement?
My observation is when a marine sees visions granted by the emperor and is gifted the armor and black sword he is already dead. Sent on suicide missions alone to challenge and kill his target identified from his visions though he be successful the price is with his life.
As hard as I try I keep coming back to the Black Templars. Just the overall look and atheistic... hard not to love them. An excellent selection for a kill team and I will probably have to make at least one squad of them someday.

Can someone enlighten a Neophyte on what version of the helmet is that in the very beginning?
I think we're starting to see something interesting in the faith of the Imperium. Something that seems to be different from the powers of the warp. That Pariah sector seems to highlight it quite clearly. The powers of the warp seem to not work there. The entire sector seems to be cut off from the warp. However it's not cut off from the faith of the Imperium.
This is another thing that makes me think that the emperor has finally repaired the human webway. If he isn't actually in the warp but in some way adjacent to it like in the webway. Then I don't think machines and technology which cuts the physical reality away from the immaterial would affect it. And if it has been repaired and the emperor isn't in the warp but projecting his power from the web way of into the warp and physical Universe then there's no reason it could not be more directed and controlled like a targeting system. Especially since there are some hints that he was developing a weapon in the human web way to be used against the ruinous powers.

Another great video! . It just doesn’t stop to amaze me on how accepting the Templar’s are of the sisters of battle zealotry in regarding the Emperor as a God. Why are the black Templar’s not slaying those heretical hypocrites sisters of battle. Honestly in an overall picture it seems the new Primaris main objective to replace the few dying astartes, comes with the benefit of burying the “Emperors Truth”.
I just love the image of the Black Templars as the Sisters fighting together. They should be able to fight together on the tabletop as the same unit like the Emperor's Talons. Perfect mirror opposites.

I could see that... sisters purging the enemy with fire and bolted while the templars charge into glorious melee.
However... the SoB ARE part of the inquisition, which almost killed off the Celestial Lions chapter... who are INCIDENTALLY one of the few close allies to the Black Templars.

My sisters are painted ice blue, the order of the frozen rose. They are modeled after viking shield maidens and are recruited from fenris.
The shield maidens of fenris should be an actual thing for the sisters of battle.

Sister and Black Templars make good allies but Sisters and Salamanders are the true embodiment of burning the unclean, for maximized purging!
This is obviously followed by brews, barbeque, holy songs, and hugs a plenty as celebration, once the world has been purged, with everyone still alive and faithful invited.
@Deathcoldan that's what's funny about the pyromaniacs. Off the battlefield they still even keep in contact with their families and sometimes visit, so they always keep their human connections.
Also obvious jest is obvious. They'd just go somewhere else and burn that too. Heresy does not stop for parties! If anything parties cause heresy and should probably all be hosed down with blessed promethium, then bombed from orbit for good measure.
