The sad part about it is the division the name of our Father and the Messiah's Name has made within our community. I have lost a sister in Christ over one of these "isolated" camps. Nobody has the name brother revelations tells us he will give us his name when he return its a lot of names floating around...which one is his name??? But its bigger than names brother our job is to wake up the 12 and draw near our salvation... I digress, given the contextual situation and meaning of the sacred name in Exodus. YHWH was just a replacement name or Jewish national name with some editor injections by the Masorites. You can find these notes visible on the Isaiah scrolls and other fragments. However, it was used to say "LORD", but was commonly Adonai.
Shem/Sham meaning name or the renownment being the name is IAM THAT IAM but the reputational aspect of the title is The God of Abraham/Issac/ and Jacob...for if Moses came unto the children he'd have to KNOW the name of God.
Problem is when sir James translated the name to I AM THAT I AM...that wasn't the pure translation per say but an interpretation based off the root word Hayah, for Ani/Anaya is commonly known as I'm (transliteration wise).
It would seem the new name will be included with the New Tongue, and that the name he gave Moses was the temporary and such. I would say calling upon the pure or proper name would be the most formal, as the Heavenly Father deserves the best from all of us, and respect.
SO call him by the name given, and Christ by the name asked Hosea 2:16

The issue is names have a lot of hypothesis, but the most coherent evidence I've found is what I've posted though this is about 3% of the information in my regard.
