Managed to get my hands on a MRC tuned 2018 Facelift Audi RS3, these new ones are so capable, its crazy how with a map and a de-cat you're now reaching 500bhp in a hot hatch. Audi really has changed the game. No turbo upgrades nothing like that. Crazy stuff.

TR Hamza how big would you say the difference is between stock S3 and stock RS3? Do you think it’s worth the extra money and worse fuel economy for the fun and extra power?
OliverWiseFitness I had the s3 and upgraded to an rs3 :-) it’s by far the best thing I have ever done:-) completely different experience .. not that much difference In Fuel tbh

OliverWiseFitness I have a 300 bhp s3 and facelift rs3. Both quick but the rs3 is another level in power noise handling. Power in the s3 is almost like on off and stops fairly quickly, rs3 is linear and keeps going and going and seemingly never stops....it's alot smoother than the s3

@@letsplaylplpnot exactly an RS3 but i ordered an Formentor VZ5 in August last year. It has the same engine but unfortunately it has this miserable GPF…
Still, i’m excited as hell as i‘m picking it up in about 4 weeks 😇

@@letsplaylplp I personally prefer the 8v Facelift ones, so the predecessor of the actual one but with the update engine (means EA855 evo with that 400hp). They look and sound the best in my opinion. Only advantage is the upgraded allwheeldrive system the newer VW Inc. cars have.

Agreed. M2 is a fine car, my mate has one and says it's better than the m3 2015 he had before. Prefer my rs3 saloon though but they are different cars for different markets. For me, an m2 was never on the cars and I don't like the look of the current m3. M4 looks great but I wouldn't get one f9r the sake reason as the m2, 2 doors so not practical
TR Hamza exactly..tell these idiots so called journalists who compares them all the time. IMO the only competitor to this car is the CLA45 amg. M2 is a fine car but its limited specially when you live in a colder climate.
The A45 is no competitior to a mapped RS3, its a slow potato in comparison...
Mar phy stock Rs3 will beat c63 easily

I ve got m5 f10 gave rs3 ago on private road off the a1m 🤪...stayed with me on my rear quarter till 140mph but couldn’t lose it hitting 175mph, rapid cars once tuned 👍🏻

Keeping up with me at those speeds that was no way a factory rs3...it was tuned kicking out serious power. I ve given standard rs3 ago and I easily pulled away from them in the past and left them behind.
Yeah it probably will have been a tuned PFL RS3, stage2/2+ is 430/+ ,defo not factory. A F10 M5 is an animal at speed there isn't much touching them unless the other car is tuned

How the feck can anyone give a thumbs down to a car like this. Wow! This car is stellar, the way it eats B roads wet or dry. Can you do a more subjective test though. Lets see what its 0-60; 0-100; in gear times and more detail about the tune. Sounds awesome too😎

Hey man, need your advice! I’m in the fortunate position to pull the trigger on either one of these 8V RS3’s or a similarly priced W205 C63. Just don’t know which is better. Fuel and practicality not important as it’ll be a second car. It’s easy to say “just drive them both” but finding two stage 2 cars to drive is near on impossible where I am. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Love the content by the way. Long time subscriber here.

Yes, a few in that list I have lined up for when weather improves. A lot of the older cars I know of are in storage over winter

TR Hamza Yeah it's difficult to find a good EK9 Type R these days, they're very rare. I've got to say that you're videos have improved a lot. Keep up the good work. 👍
I was hoping you would elaborate on how the FL RS3 handles better than the PFL RS3 as you mentioned in another VAM given the FL has an aluminium block, hollowed crank and new conrods which supposedly removes 30kg from the engine. Informative nonetheless.
Handling is covered in 2/3 of the other videos I’ve done on the the FL. This video is more about the power upgrades this car at that specific time.
I like how the road in the opposite direction says "slow slow". I guess you're going in the opposite direction, so you should be going "fast fast". 13:33

I have a new RS3 - tempted by MRC - not sure the neighbours could live with the decat though. In fact, I am not sure they can live with the noise as it stands. maybe in for a penny, in for a pound.....
