Kenneth Cole KC1514 Watch Review

- I must have been very good this year because I received many nice gifts this Christmas! One of these presents was a Kenneth Cole KC1514 automatic watch. I don't usually like department store watches, but this watch is a great exception at a great price. Please make sure to rate, comment, subscribe, and enjoy!
i was given the same model watch (with a stainless steel bracelet) about 4 years ago for christmas and i agree, it keeps fantastic time. in fact, the times ive had to adjust the time have been after not wearing it. not sure if you noticed the unfortunately incorrect roman numeral 4("iiii" instead of iv). aside from that, its incredibly reliable for any mechanical watch(despite having a chinese movement) and a fantastic value.
I have a Kenneth Cole Rose Gold Skeleton Watch which was given to me a year ago and it still looks rich and commanding. The only downside with Kenneth Cole watches is that it can easily have micro scratches allover. Tho for me, I think it builds character and each scratch tells a story. Others may say its not a good brand since they don't make their movements in-house and they've gotten their movements from Japan ~. I say its actually a big win since Japanese Movements (or most products in general) are sturdy and reliable~
Thank you for the review~ Kenneth Cole watches deserve more recognition (albeit being a "fashion" watch). Definitely much better than DWs or MVMTs~

Can you help me? I just bought this watch brand new and I wind it and it works then 10 minutes later stops and I do the whole wrist twist with it and works then stops again what do I do to keep it going?

@ferrarifan25 I've been to Italy before, but I never made it to Maranello. It was an orchestra trip, actually, so I wasn't allowed to go to the factory, to my disappointment. But, it gives me PLENTY of reason to go back. It sounds like you had the trip of a lifetime!
I have seen a 250 GTO in person before in Houston, TX. It was in for a service and a technician let me take a peek. I actually got to touch the paint of an $18 million car! It was parked next to a 250 SWB and a California Spider.

@TheKRVR Hell yeah dude Ralphs GTO is my favorite too! Or maybe nick masons. I had the chance to go to Maranello last year and i was sad to see that they didn't have a GTO in the Ferrari museum.. But I got to see gille villeneuve's real formula 1 car witch was awesome! and got to touch the shifter knob of the first Ferrari ever made. so over all greatest trip of my life! have you ever been over there? If not. you gotta go man!
@SONICTH18 This is an automatic watch, not a quartz, therefore nothing on the watch is not digital, only analog. If you take a look in the book that comes with the watch, it goes over how to set automatic, mechanical, and quartz watches. Sorry I can't really help. Best of luck!
Personally, I don't like quartz watches, I prefer mechanical and automatic watches myself, so I would select the Kenneth Cole. Plus, the skeleton movement is very handsome, and I do get an awful lot of compliments on this watch. I would personally recommend the KC1514 in this particular price range over the AX1181.
I understand that they have stand-alone stores, but generally, the watch branch of the brand is carried in department stores and is not consigned to jewelry stores like Panerai or Breitling would be, that is what I meant.
@ferrarifan25 Thanks! It's my absolute favorite Ferrari and therefore my absolute favorite car. If I could own any one car in the world, it would be that 1962 250 GTO. I'm pretty sure that model is done after Ralph Lauren's GTO which is s/n 3987, which is my personal favorite of all the GTO's. I'll probably never own that GTO, but that model fills my fix for now. :-)

Hey, I'm getting ready to buy my first fancy ($100+) watch and can't decide between this KC1514 and AX1181. I really like watches with mechanisms visible, but the Armani has this muscular presence that I really like also. Could you help me with that decision? Thanks

What do you mean department store brand. Kenneth Cole can be bought at a department store but its not a department store brand they do have stand alone stores so idk what you mean by it being a department store brand?
@fnriise18 Awesome, I've had more compliments on this watch than any other in my collection; he'll love it. Yes, that's the Kyosho 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO s/n 3987, without a doubt my favorite car in the world, ever.

Wind the watch a good no. of times. About 20-25.
I returned it and got a brand new one no problems anymore got a defective one i guess
Mine does this it has never worked I out it away six years ago and brought it out today .any advise on making work would be helpful turning the crown does nothing
