Best thing I’ve learned with the razor is to download and print the service manual. If you can turn wrenched and follow instructions. You will be pulling the entire motor FYI ! To detach and service the tranny! My manual does not include specific part
really nice video. I had to turn the music off as I am 70 years old. What was the torque reading to spin the gears when you installed the cover the last time?
Is the output shaft supposed to be stiff ? I had to change the housing as the tab for engine stud broke off casing .. I changed bearings and seals but left the shims the same alone . I'm assuming since you used a torque tool when you turn it it must have some stiffness to it
Just finished rebuilding mine! Your a lot faster at it than I was I must say! My only problem is that my main gear case with the output shaft seems extremely hard to turn? After repeatedly watching your video I’m finally realizing that you first torqued the cover down without the gasket sealer to set the bearings and then gasket sealer? I don’t know what the name of that torque wrench is but that must be a necessary tool to do this correctly! I don’t want to put this thing all back to get her now with out knowing those shafts are gonna spin
I want you to know… this video single handedly got me through an entire trans rebuild!
I know this is old but you missed the second Retaining Clip/Ring @
