That is why she has that need for others she was raised to live and depend on the pack. but her personality is perfect since she had Myoga to mentor her just like her dad. I'm sure Moroha has heard countless stories of her parents. I can't wait for her to find them.
@@brucechmiel7964 I'm just talking about characters from older series having some involvement in this show. It's almost like whoever wrote this story wanted very little of the older characters to be involved for new audiences yet sprinkle small cameos and easter eggs. As much as people don't like Boruto, there's a sense of continuity between that show and what came before.

@@Excalibur01 I disagree, I like that they sprinkle in some of the old characters. Inuyasha story had been told and I enjoyed it now its the twins and Moraha story and im still enjoying it because they're now showing more of the Great Dog Demon and his rivals. Plus we didn't get much of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru working together but their daughters fighting together makes up for that

Probally, because, she is the daughter of Kagome and Inuyasha. The main chara of the previous serie.
It can be look bad, when you make the kid of the protagonist, the new protagonist (some complain, that Boruto is the main chara of his serie, because, he is the son of the previous main chara).
By making Sesshoumaru's dautghers the main characters, you has a storyline, that you can follow. And, you has the chance, to show the dad more and give him more character, than the original series had.
Moroha is the funny one. But, in this show, she doesnt has a arc, a goal or something to archiv (except, to have one time a succed payday for hunting^^). There is nothing, to follow her.
They would need, to give her first a goal. Similar to Serena, from pokemon x/y, who had a long time no goal, before, she foundet one.
Yep, she is definitely Kagome's and Inuyasha's daughter.

Being family doesn't necessarily equal being friends or getting along. My cousin for instance hates her own father (she refuses to even refer to him as her "Dad" or "Father" and just dismissively refers to him by his first name) because he was such a piece of shit (he's been basically disowned by our entire family, so much so that none of us even give a damn if he's even alive anymore). The guy literally tried to cause his own father's death, solely so that he could then claim his inheritance (he was stopped by his father's then-girlfriend, thankfully, and his own father disowned him and wrote him out of his will after that whole debacle).
Pity it took Setsuna & Towa so long to realize that Moroha wanted them to go with her entirely because she was lonely and just wanted friends.

I’m just mad that the producers did her like this. She had the same childhood Inuyasha had. Being alone and ostracized. Not cool. She deserves a family. Honestly, they did the original characters soooo dirty. Kagome and Inuyasha deserve to be left in peace, able to love each other and have a family with their daughter.
That's why i won't watch yashaime. It's off canon for me. I am angry how they treated main cast and Sesshomaru doughters aren't so much interesing for me as protagonist. They are lacking also good male main characters there in group like pervert Miroku or adhd Inuyasha. Orginal group had nice dynamic, two girls, two boys and kid. If i want continuation fandom has so many great fanfics which are better written than this anime...

The entire family deserved love. Kagome gave up everything for a life with Inuyasha only to get plot frozen and have her daughter ripped away. Inuyasha finally made peace with himself and his lonely past to be denied the opportunity to pass his hard earned wisdom to his daughter. Moroha is too good for this show
Agreed!!!! I dont even watch yashahime like that (i stopped at episode 3? I think) because it just seemed wrong to me. (And rin x seshomaru is hella uncomfortable)

Really the comment is more jagged and insulting for Setsuna and Towa than it could ever be for Moroha, since while for S&T their mother is indeed JUST A HUMAN with (to date anyways) no special abilities or the like, Morohas mother is the reincarnation of Kikyo, a priestess with next to unmatched spiritual powers, and so as such inherited and passed on spiritual abilities

Regarding the bit about Morohas dad being a half demon: yea, that really does factor in considering that his power, despite being from a mere half demon, supposedly surpassed that of his father's, and everyone always seems to hold a high regard, respect, and acknowledgement of his power, seemingly making damn sure to always respect him

They may not insult InuYasha once they recognize his power, but Moroha doesn't have a lot of accolades and it's still regularly brought up by demons disparagingly that she's a quarter-demon, which is a greater insult in their culture than calling someone a half-demon. None of them seem to care that Kagome's a powerful priestess like they did with Kikyo. Moroha has to deal with more feelings of inferiority than Towa and Setsuna because more demons mention Sesshomaru than anyone else. As far as Moroha knows, her parents weren't very important since no one addresses their disappearance.

Moroha reuniting with her parents, if it'll even happen given the lack of signs of them being alive (and don't use Jaken's words about needing Inuyasha's help at some point as assurance that it'll happen), is the only reason I have to put up with it.

Wow the English dub is actually good! I mean Inuyasha is one of the very few anime’s that are great in English. But I was worried about the voices for our princesses. But their perfect!
There is an anime called rokka no yusha that has a great english dub.

Eh tbh it sounds meh imo. The original Inuyasha sounded superb but this....it just sounds so weird and out of place at times.

As someone who actually watched this before inyuasa.
The story line was interesting
Moroha got me hooked
Setsuna got me invested
And finally towa made me fall in love with it
if that order seems weird, I really started with the 2nd season.
Point is, as someone who wasn't just looking for nostalgia, all 3 are great characters
I love setsunas growth from here to the second season. Right here she’s like “lol we’re not friends” and now she’s like “we’re friends and family”

i actually prefer moroha to be lead at first (well until now) but then i realized if the lead is sesshomaru and rin's child i can follow their story line. Since i am interested to know more about them. Being Towa and Setsuna as leads means more of sesshomaru and rin's story. And I know a lot about kagome and inuyasha anyways so it's fine. I need something new. I can understand the creators. They must have planned this thoroughly. but still i really like moroha the most i wish they do not needed her to be treated like a side character just to let the twins shine. I wish they treat this trio equally so it can be more interested.

There's something about the way Setsuna says "so is yours" that makes me laugh every time. It's not what she said, but how she sounded saying it. And I know because when I watched the original sub I didn't find it as funny (I watched the sub before the dub).

Did they even say they were cousins before? I never really noticed them calling themselves that in all the episodes I've seen. This is the only one in which even a single character uses that. And they don't really express much interest in their parents.

My problem with series like this:
Demons: Hey, there's multiple ways for us to go to the future where there's a lack of demon slayers and multiple hi-tech weapons for us to incorporate into our very adaptable bodies. Should we go there?
Also demons: Nah.
It would be going to Onimusha 3 territory with demons invading the future think that happened in one of the movies
But I don't think they would survive in the modern era if they don't conceal theirself. Yokai/Japanese demons' power usually came from nature too but in modern era there's so much pollution and the land where Yokai usually lives became buildings & roads. Humans also doesn't believe in them anymore.😅
@@megumimendel2008 Umm remember the third Inuyahsa movie we're just touching the sword of hell reduced those building's to dust or the episode with Kagome with the dead girl who nearly got dragged into hell or I don't know that time that soul eater demon absorbed the cop's souls during Inu's first visit to Kagome home ugh my memory twisted
@@tonyinfinite5174 I'm not sure about the movies cause most of them weren't a canon on the manga and to make them canon the author would talk about them from time to time. Like Ayame she was created in the anime but the author like her so she was mentioned in the manga. Most anime with Yokai creature would make the yokais conceal themselves in the modern era because there's only few of them compared to the past or the other reason would be Earth & heaven gods didn't allow most of them to live in the human world. Most Yokai that lives with the human are the one who are strong and doesn't care about human or the weak and harmless and sometimes there's a few that seems weak but actually harmful but it's rare. Well Inuyasha & Yashahime have the same world but different author so I'm not entirely sure I simply assume that maybe Yokai can't go to the future or survive in modern era because of various reasons like there's not much of a place for them or some deity didn't let them(with Yokai in the story surely there would be gods)
