    Show Notes:
Genetics do not explain the whole story.
There once was a time, when you were healthy, when you had the same genes as you do now!
"Bad Genes," once activated, cause inflammation.
70-80% of the immune mediated inflammation starts in the gut.
"Bad Genes" can also come from "Bad Microbes" living in our intestines
Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) show multiple genes involved in Lupus (and anti-nuclear antibody positivity); but these pro-inflammatory genes are not always activated.
    Mind-Gut-Immunity Clinic Philosophy:
Turn on good genes, turn off bad genes, Promote good microbes, remove bad microbes.
    Achieve lasting relief without medications.
    5 Epigenetic Root Causes:
    Poor Diet
    Troubled Digestion
    Diminished Sleep
    Emotional Stress
    Exercise Deficiency
Other / Miscellaneous Category: Smoking, Dental Hygiene, Medication Side-Effect

STRESSSSSSSS is my worst trigger. After three miscarriages, a very difficult pregnancy, and a second better pregnancy, our daughter was born with disabilities. It wasn’t long before I experienced crashing thyroid and adrenals. The next 15 years, I experienced my husband finishing grad school, several close relatives die, countless hours of therapy for our daughter, homeschooling, and a part-time job. Three years ago, my husband’s kidneys failed. Three years later, he’s on hemodialysis 40+ hours a week here at home. Dealing with his dialysis has become another part-time job for me. Last year, after 11 grueling months of systematic, head to toe hives, I was finally diagnosed with lupus. One doctor simply told me to reduce my stress levels, and I burst out crying. I’m working with a nutritionist to maximize my healing. Thank you for hope!

My symptoms started in the fall of 2020, when I was fighting to save my business - my family’s sole source of income - and experiencing the biggest stressor of my life. I didn’t know what diagnosis I had, but I intuitively knew to address my diet. Though I’m 100% off all flour and sugar, which did seem to help significantly , I’m still struggling with symptoms. My sleep is actually pretty good. The business came back, but this whole time, I’ve been wondering if I should get a divorce. Can’t help but think the daily stress of that lack of resolution is causing the tendency toward flares. I’ve been doing morning yoga 15 min to 1 hr, but the more I exert, the more likely I’ll get a bout of fatigue later. Not being tired, or sore, but debilitating fatigue. You’re saying it’s not really the stress itself, but I don’t know. Feels like stress itself is a trigger to me?

Stress triggers my Lupus flares. So do allergies, diet and physical exertion, like you say. The more I do physically, the more my body says "stop. Rest." I have to go slow and easy I noticed, which is counter intuitive for me

Stress is what caused my Cardiomyopathy. That was 10 years ago at 65. My Cardiologist said a year later "This is a miracle your heart is back to normal." When I was diagnosed with Lupus a year later my Internist said "They don't use the word remission in Lupus but you don't have any signs of Lupus anymore." Now at 75 I'm under extreme stress due to Elder Abuse from my neighbor. My BP was 255/155 for awhile. I saw my Cardiologist and I have a new prescription plus I'm taking B complex vitamins and that really helps. So my Lupus is back and is worse because I'm older. (Still young at heart ☺️)
A doctor I have never seen stopped my Plaquenal and I've had a flare ups for months continually. Hard to find Rheumatologist in Michigan. Double whammy with Fibromyalgia and Lupus. Have had Fibromyalgia 38 years.
I have to mentally and physically get rid of Lupus again. Your information will start me on my path. The mind helps alot 💕🙏 Thank you 🌞

All 5 are a problem for me. I was diagnosed with Lupus and Mixed connective tissues disease mid 2019. I had to see 2 different RA’s to get someone to believe me that I was having a problem. For me they just kind of came out of nowhere. My first set of symptoms was consistent headaches/migraines, I could be standing and my vision would blackout for no reason for 5 to 10 seconds, my hands started to hurt, I was tired all the time, my skin would get splotchy in the sun, i would get a mild butterfly rash from being outside for to long in the sun, I had a horrible coughing fits for 3 months and no one could figure out the cause of it. My entire life I have always been told I have a high positive ANA level but I had no symptoms from anything so no doctor would decide to look further into why. I always had a very high chance in a lower extremity injury with joints, bone, or muscle/tendons when I was younger. We just thought I was highly accident prone as a kid and thought nothing of it, but now it all makes sense. I am over using medication to try to help with my lupus because I am now on 2 different kinds to get it under control but it still hasn’t been helping and now I understand why. My RA never told me about this type of approach to helping with my lupus and mixed connective tissue disease. I thank you for that.

I have read that the predisposition to Lupus can be traced back to some of our ancestors who did farm work and walked around the barnyard barefooted. It has been suggested it is a virus that entered into the gene pool and gets passed on down. However, not everybody comes down with Lupus depending on their immune system. Diet, vitamins and exercise can certainly be helpful
    in dealing with the disease.

I am delivering a sermon to you 🙏😊 please read
Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better.
And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊
Or just be my friend if you don't want to say the prayer 😄
I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD 🙏
    Amen.
I have worded a short prayer for you to say if you are not sure what words to use, it may not be the best but here it is 😊
    '' CREATOR, LORD GOD,
Please forgive me and my friends and my family for our immoral acts, please help guide us in a positive direction and please help us against evil. Please save us from Hell and have mercy on our souls. Thank you CREATOR, LORD GOD. Amen. ''
Please say this at least once a day for at least a month, do it longer if you want to and can 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You should prostrate yourself if you don't want to do spoken prayer, or do both 🙏😊 Please worship the LORD GOD and not any idol.
Please put your hands together 🙏 bow your head and say this prayer:
"CREATOR, LORD GOD, please know that I worship you and not any idols. Thank you for everything CREATOR, LORD GOD. Amen"
Say ' Om Namah Shivaya ' out loud or in your head 108 times, or try to do it 1008 times 😊 try to do it everyday if you want
repeat this aloud for as long as you want to, try to do it for like an hour a day or say it in a prayer "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner"
You can also say this prayer once a day or repeat it aloud as many times as you would like to:
"Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen."
    Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
    Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
"O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!" Repeat this aloud at least 3 times or as many as you want, do it everyday if you can
I apologize for all the words 😊 I know how it may look
