- Update number 9 is out, here is what they changed in Soulmask on 7-2-24. It's a short list but has some pretty big changes, like the changes to the repari durability reduction now being a set amount.

A separate volume slider for anything on fire. The bonfire noise is ridiculous. Also, the pet whistle needs to lose 30 decibels, asap. It wakes up my wife, makes the dogs bark.. whoever thought it needed to be that much louder than EVERY OTHER SOUND needs a pip.
all the crafting stations are very loud, especially chopping ones

That explains a lot why the neighbor dog has been barking.
I don't like losing mods on weapons when repairing them.

Same. I mean we would eventually need to replace the weapons/armors after several repairs, so I see no point of losing the mods every repair.
The gardens seen at 1:41 are so nice looking. Natural edges, and not stone edged. Keep the farmlands same size and usable area, but reduce the edge / collision restrictors by 5-8% so we can slightly overlap INSIDE a 2x2 foundation (with fences) around
Yeah the "I can't place here, I'm falling!" when it's got PLENTY of space is really, really annoying.
You should have a screenshot of the list of changes on the screen for people who are more visual like me. I get lost in thought very easily just listening.

I just quit to main menu. I'd prefer a pause, but leaving works.

just pressing ESC should work unless someone else is connected. This is how Valheim works.

As a parent, you chose to have kids. Thus, you forever gave up your pause button privileges.
I'm waiting for the body sculpting pill to let us actually do body sculpting (These need to let us do full character redesigns not just redistribute points) on our deterred tribals. There are also a handful of localization issues that seriously need cleaning up / simplification (See descriptions of what things do & the censor which flat out needs a toggle on/off feature.)
Wish they would fix the deployed NPC and their combat mode "Assist". Prior to early access and in the demo period it was working pretty well, where as soon as I would damage a target the deployed NPC would start to attack my target. Ever since EA and for about 80% of the time they just stand there until they take damage.
Unless there's a setting I'm missing, I'd love to have items stop being automatically added into my tool bar.
Please allow the option to increase the follow distance of mounts, Every time I have a bow shot lined up my Paca just has to step in my LOS.

Thanks for the video! The frequency that the devs update this game is amazing! On another note, could you consider doing a guide for the holy ruins in the Frost Canyon? I found my way to the boss for the mask but the rest of it is a maze. I've made it to where the ancient tablet should be but the door says 3/6 and I can't find anything to unlock it.
1 top priority is for me: Official servers need to have a fix for lagg. So we can enjoy the game fully to its extend.

wish they'd let us deploy multiple tribesmen at the same time. Imagine how intense the PVP battles would be if everyone had a gang of 3 deployed. it would be a full on BRAWL
we need more mount/pet slots
on 6 man tribe servers the whole tribe only get 10 (this includes your monkeys gathering fruits), not sure about higher tribe servers
also need some more slots to save tribesman dna
Can we fix weapons and armor with Mods not disappear when freaking fixing it. Such a waist of materials and Mod just disappears. These Mod 3’s are so hard to grind especially Dmg and Bleed mod 3
Most of my wishlist wants are small QOL things. Granary shouldn't be a hold anything container, at the very least allow me to control what goes in like any other container.
1. A way to automate feeding tribesman that i want to deter. Now everytime i have to go to his eq give him broth use it and take it back over and over again. Wish there would be a way for them to automatically use food.
2. Way to make detered tribesman follow you to base all at once. Now when i deter more than one tribesman i have to take then one by one to base and its not fun. Wish to be some item/option to allow me to take like 5 tribesman at once to follow me

Did they fix the personal teleport being constantly being obstructed in single player when riding a llama? Even with the teleport with inventory enabled.

A good quality of live change is no perma damage to equipment after repair
I still can't believe it works this way, it sucks in Conan it sucks even harder in Soulmask
Fix follower AI when dealing with traps. I frequently lose my follower by them hitting one spike trap, then standing there to try to bandage and boom dead
Wak, i purchased SoulMask on the last day of it's EA release but i haven't started playing it for reasons unrelated to all of the stuff i have seen and heard being discussed here on YT and reddit. But with some of the issues the game seems to have and the devs paying close attention and making changes, do you think i should start playing it as soon as I am able or should I hold off a bit? It seems like the experience would be be better holding off but it also still looks good now.
The game is amazing imo the bugs you run into are so small but the game as a whole for an early access. I’m veryyyy picky about survival games too but this game hits all the marks for me. You’ll have a great time trust me. It’s even better if you play with friends.

I have one problem in the game and that is I can’t found Tribsmen for Armor lvl 120 😢 i farmed like 5 days now and i didnt get even one
When you clean barbarian fortress and kill a boss and enter mechanical dungeon behind it the entire fortress respawned (exsept last boss) idk how thats not fixed yet.
I want beards. A good selection of them too.
The music from the cavern was so annoying. I’m glad they fixed it.
The number one thing that I would like to see addressed in a future update is the ability to see the markers my human tribespeople put on the map so we can travel more easily together.
I might be misunderstanding, but couldn't you already do this? You can make a tribe-shared marker that your tribemates will also see

@@RangerX3X That's odd, my friends and I have been doing that since we started playing, and haven't had an issue.
After creating a marker on the map screen, do you click on the marker, and then click on the "Share as a tribe mark" button that appears on the lower right of the screen?

I just deleted my account on the official server at level 37, after level 36 everything stopped, I don't want to hate this game, I have to find my place on some private server, why don't devs understand this?????? Levelling on official is not Game it’s pain ….

I died somewhere in the dungeon with phenomenal loot and lost all my loot while respawning 🤦🏽♂️. My inventory had nothing.
Wak, my fav game guru.... Why are my fish and Turkeys dying?... When i came on in the morning the fish tank have 1 fish left, they have food... and all Turkeys are gone!?
The Update killed my whole tribe. Log says they all died of starvation

My biggest and only serious complaint about this game is if you're not on for a couple days you loose so much. I'm starting to not like the game because of this.
Yeah, the game doesn't seem to respect the player's time. Both n terms of grind, lack of quick travel options, and demanding you log in frequently to do busy work.
Set your tribesmen to handle the task and you won’t lose your base. The can manage the bonfire have some clearing trees. Have some manage filling the feeding troughs so your animals don’t die have some managing food so your tribe doesn’t die. The game has automation
@@makeitmakesense2400 I've done a most of that. I keep loosing lumberjacks to the flint tribe and only when I am on and I never see the first NPC and even though I have followers for whatever reason my turkey pen will be full same as my fish pen within 48 hours they're all dead even with a follower assigned too them.
@makeitmakesense2400 the game has automation, not all of it works the way it's supposed to.
@@greenranger2764 Hey Green, level your lumberjack in whatever weapon proficiencies they are best at. Then give them good armor and weapons as well as heals. I have a miner that the flint tribe attacks all the time. The first time I saw the notice to go help my tribesman I ran like hell to get over there but by the time I got there she was already hitting rocks again and there were 3 death packages. Depending on where you are on the map you could also look for a fighter that has good logging stats to boost his survival chances. As for the pens, do you have them assigned to the pen, or are they assigned to the breeding building?
Need better xp rates for awareness leveling up. Too slow
FIX the damn birds screaming about everything after settings have been changed and set back on its perch. OMG! That is soooo annoying.

I wish they get to really balancing the game. The content goes from this is fun while being pretty hard to I am so tired of doing this.. Getting into iron gear and solo killing the ape really kicks off the where did the fun go aspect of the game. Grinding mats for steel armor and really just making steel is not a lot of fun. Some of the dungeons are just plain overwhelming solo. I died in the poisoned dungeon and just left my stuff. It wasn't worth trying to go back to get it. Just getting to the place is dumb with the amount of damage the creatures that can poison do and the sheer number of them. Volcano is equally as bad.. Hell the ice is bad as well. Your tribesmen don't survive here. The AI is just to lacking for them to do smart things on a repetitive basis. This game is really meant to not be played solo and does a piss poor job of balancing it. Same content with 3-4 people is so much easier.. Hell even two. Solo just gets dumped on right about steel.
