{On Jan.24, 2021, this song's melody was claimed by "AdRev Publishing /Червона рута-13031" as belonging to them!! I guess it's illegal to sing or record Chervona Ruta in public now...?
It really is a flagrant abuse of copyright to continually and falsely claim that AdRev or S. Rotaru own ANY of Volodymyr Ivasiuk's compositions (let alone the melody to "Chervona Ruta") or that they have any claim whatsoever to this performance, to the melody or to the arrangement as are seen here being performed live by the Artemyaks and their band.
Sofia Rotaru DOES NOT sing here, Rotaru has NOTHING to do with this song performance.
Chervona Ruta is a song which has attained immense Ukrainian national, cultural and folkloric status, and it's been performed by thousands of artists.
It's unreal that "Ad Rev" claims copyright for this song, and that CZcams enables these false claims again and again, as if they didn't know that it was a false claim the previous time it was made.}
