I just bought myself a used hpi hellfire RTR. The engine is probably shot,but i have plenty of engines. For 25 dollars its a good deal anyway. Have a pristine ss i dont want to mess up,so my tought is to use this to spare the other.

hey my dude! You gotta be checking eBay/FB marketplace/Offer up on the daily. That's what's I've been doing, but I also like that kind of thing, you know. Best recommendation is the Savage X 4.6 if you could find one, it's highly standardized and still sold brand new, you should not have parts issues with them. In terms of 5th scales, look for a normal ROVAN Baja, great cheap way to get into the Gas Scene. Lotta cheap parts for them and tons of people who know alot about them willing to help u out.

Mine is still in the box, I really have no need for it because I have another used one that I Run mostly. anyways, the new XL is a good value for the 699, and 30 dollar coupon. Considering th last gen XL cost about 590 when it was new, not bad.

Getting my original Losi LST & LST 2 back up and running by the weekend. They’ve been in storage for a while, but they are gonna be set loose soon and will never be back in the storage unit again.
And they are in really good condition. I might even say great!

You have convinced me to buy a savage x4.6 with reverse but I won't use the reverse babee, il get up and walk to my car, I bought a used savage, but in tip top condition, still with original parts, rx and tx, hump pack, roto start, 2 sets of glow plugs, spare brake discs, 2 bodies with minor scuffs, seller ran the savage infront of me also, added a 2 litre beetle juice fuel,glow plug ignitor, oem hpi spanner tool, instruction manual, a whole lot of spares and a huge carry box with all the chargers needed for around 280usd well in my money thats R4800 or zar4800,but I'm happy with it...

hey bro! not bad right! But trust me, there are lots of surprises on this one too, it's never that easy. Even a basic thing like the Roto-start back plate being different, if I didn't already own so many nitros that would have been a disaster.

thats right bro! Gotta love the Savage, no matter what!! I'm mostly looking for only the Savage X 4.6 model or the XL model at this point. I'm not going back to the older 25 and 21 models unless they are in terrific shape. The X 4.6 model is highly standardized and still sold brand new, this makes it a good BASHER nitro.

Great deal on the Savage. I'd love to find that truck for that price. I did just purchase a T Maxx 2.5 for 150 on Ebay this weekend haven't received it yet .It was for parts or repair all the pic show it is complete with no broken parts..Can't wait ti it gets here I love a new project to work on.

yup man! those are the original SAVAGE 21 tires, they were terrific when they came out. Unfortunately the glue and the sidewalls of the tires just break down over time, and that is the main issue. If I used those tires, chances are they would just rip apart from the bead in a couple runs.

thanks bro! I got lucky on the deal, but trust me dude there are tons of things that needed to be fixed and worked on for this thing to run. I'm doing the second part video right now, and ran into even more issues.. Turns out the exhaust gasket is bad, the servo saver needs some work, and the radio was fully deal. Plus the included Roto-start is from a different model. No big deal tho, I'm taking care of it right now.

The red cat receivers are fly sky u may be able to bind to that with a spare fly sky remote

hey bro! I got lucky with randomly finding this one for sale. Ofocurse there are lots of things that need to fixed and worked on, so it's not just a ready to go type of thing. I'm working on the second part video right that will show all the issues I'm running into. I highly recommend you check your local FB marketplace and Offer up for listings on these. There are many for sale, but most people want crazy money for them these days.

hey buddy! With a nitro I've only had a runaway 1 time (15 years ago with an old AM Radio). Currently I use very good FLYSKY radios with built in Fail-Safe features. There is almost no chance of having a runaway. As a backup on a nitro you could install a throttle return spring that will close the carb if servo power is lost. I did once have a runaway with a gas RC, ended in a bad crash and damage tho. A result of the servo itself having mechanical damage and getting stuck in full throttle position.

just picked up a used HPI Savage with a 3 speed transmission and reverse, with 3 sets of tires and 2 body's , extra glow plugs and a glow starter and charger for 250 and it's in great condition but won't shift either what do you think.

In terms of new Nitros I would have to say the T-maxx 3.3 is great for all around driving and off-roading. Also the best parts support. Ofcourse if you're expanding your search to older RCs, then there is a whole bunch of choices. But the T-maxx is still a top pick , you can't go wrong..

Bro, what's going on! I've already been to the MOON, in terms of how high my MPGs are on the prius! Did you see the MPG at the end, 57.3 MPG with the AC on over a 100 mile trip in dense traffic and highway speeds. To the moon baby!!!.

@@kgm5512 I was sweating bullets during the intro on this video before the AC was on. And still got 57.3 MPG overall. Car is crazy!! And this is an old 2008 prius, imagine if I had a ewer one, OMG!!. I would send those MPG's to the MOON and back!! haha .

BRO, did you know I also own a 2007 Grand Marquis?? YUP, I do! It's been in many of my videos in the past. BTW I can totally confirm the 4.6 V8 does get 30-32 MPG at steady 70 MPH highway speeds. But of course in the style of driving I normally do (which was most of the trip for this video) I would have gotten around 21 on average based on heavy traffic and hills. The prius really maximized economy in any condition, you know.

Federal agents will investigate promptly and in some cases retrieve the abused nitro and provide correct percentage castor based nitro fuel in a warm and dry environment.
