man and we thought blaine perkins' flip at dega was nasty
@@Why..... yeah... my thoughts are currently with him
You can see him being thrown around in the car where the roof hatch was. This crash gave me a headache. Glad he’s okay.
Haven't seen one like that since the early 90s. Rusty Wallace in 93 at Daytona and Dega maybe. Damn....
I'd equate Preece's flip to Davey Allison's flip at Pocono in 1992 imo
Elliot Sadler 2003 Talladega?
That was some of the most violent tumbling and highest air I've ever seen in a Nascar flip! Hope he'll be okay.
The judges give him a 9 for the dismount 😂
Car gymnastics
We’ve never seen anything like this in decades, prayers
Cap
He’s aight
Last time I saw something like that was with Ricky Rudd
It looks like the late Davey Allison's crash at Pocono in 1992 and Darrell Waltrip at Daytona in 1991
And Rusty Wallace Daytona and Talladega 1993.
One of the most vicious flips I have ever seen as a nascar fan for 10+ years. I hope Ryan is okay 🙏🏾
Really? because this wouldn't even rank in my top 10 of bad wreaks probably not even in my top 20.
@@pp3k3jamailagreed id say not even top 500 at that
@@Boxscot49this is def a top 500 dawg 😭💀💀
@Boxscot49 u prob thinking of crashes not flips
You can see the while car flex at 0:44 damn.
That crash is actually safer cause the momentum is decreased over a long distance. It’s those sudden stops that are deadly.
Yeah. The car dissipated energy in the flip
Crash didnt even last 10 seconds. And the impact from falling that high was enough to send him on a stretcher. Its a crash thats generally safer, but this was way more extreme which made it actually dangerous.
see, the problem i have with this barrel roll is that he was so high in the air and barrel rolling so fast that when he hit the ground he hit it incredibly hard, still better than hitting the catch fence though
Look at how the window net and roof hatch detached from the frame of the car. Such a scary accident I hope Preece is okay after that because I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that since the early 2000s barrel rolls.
This crash looked a lot like a combination of the two tumbles Rusty Wallace had in 1993
Those 2 things coming undone makes this flip even worse.
The window net also came undone if you look closely
@@Pigeongamer_you know a flip is horrible when the net detaches
Reminds me of his wreck at Kansas in 2020 and when Darrell Waltrip flipped here decades ago
Also reminds me of Elliot Sadler’s 2003 Talladega flip.
This will go down as one of the most violent crashes in Nascar history. This will be talked about for years.
The amount of rotations in mid air without contacting the ground was simply insane.
Flip 11 times, thats a lot of force g!
Nah He Flipped 10 Times
One of the craziest shit I have seen this season
As a nascar fan I never been so scared in my life
🤣
Same as Chris buescher in Charlotte in the Coke cola 600 in 2022
Not even close
God was watching over him through this crash. I hope he doesn't have any serious injuries.
this is why we need in car cameras everywhere
The crazy part for me is at 0:20 it’s like it’s tumbling so fast it looks it it actually tumbled up even higher mid air
Nr2003 type shit
Car made 4 whole revolutions in the air and almost cleared the entire paved access road in one jump.
I call that one of the most destructive NASCAR crashes of 2023.
0:33 If you look at the window net area you can see his water bottle fly out of the car...
Yeah I see it on the bottom left
Shades of the 80s and 90s, that was my first thought as it was happening
I’ve been watching nascar religiously now for about 15 years and have never seen a flip get to the double digit numbers… he flipped ELEVEN freaking times… hoping for good news to come out soon
It seemed to "maintain" flight for a moment. 0:17
I cannot believe this. I also cannot believe what I just saw, coming out from the screen!
Never realized that the window net was ripped open until now. I had noticed the hatch, but holy shot
Haven't been that scared and sickened since Newman's Crash in 2020
Rolls 10 times dammmmmmm
Reminds me of Elliott Sadler's flip
I still can't believe this crash 🤯🤯🤯 (i been watching Nascar since 2007).
He definitely had a Rusty Wallace moment
Nasty crash since Elliott Sadler at Talladega 2003.
This is probably the worst flip in the cup Series besides Newman’s. Combined the worst aspects of the most iconic flips into one
This was not a good race for Drivers named Ryan -- wish the best to both of them...
This is Sadler levels of what the fuck just happened
this guy has the worst luck when it comes to wrecks. first that hard wreck at kansas in 2020 and now this. but man is he tough. glad he's alright
i cant i cant
Rotom Pokédex: LOOK AT THIS CAR. JESUS.
I was shocked after I saw this crash. I froze
15 barell rolls omg I never ever seen a wreck like that it's was wicked to see
Ryan Precee’s first ever flip I hope he is ok😢 but CHRIS BUSCHER WON DAYTONA!!!!
That was like Bruce Jocabi’s flip with Anderson’s flip and Rusty Wallace 1993 Daytona flip getting mixed altogether.
Bobby Valentines and other 80 90s barrel rolls can be thrown all together.
I cant believe how high that car got and its litterly 2023
Woooooooooooow! That is officially the worst crash of 2023, the biggest flips i've ever seen!
I counted 11
Reminds me of rusty Wallace 1993
I hope he’s OK after that.
Though as I rewatch this flip the more I realize how violent it probably was and looked and I saw the roof hatch fly off.
4.5 flips without touching the ground
some 90's type shit
That car flipped 11 times. That’s the most in decades. If Preece started flipping a little more off to the left, he probably would have cleared the fence. And how he’s alive with a car that’s as much of a liability as the Next Gen I have no idea. He is incredibly lucky
Tbe the car flipped 10 tines
@@IGNITION8211
4 flips without touching the ground at all + 7 more
I sure like to see that infield grass gone on the back straightaway one of these days, but please keep the chicane for the road course.
Sadley his greatest achievement
🤣 Agree
bro please tell me somebody has ryan preece onboard
I'm sure a video will come up eventually, as long as the camera survived
You wouldn’t see much with all that dirt flying around in the car
#prayforpreece
Wow i hope he’s ok epic
I counted eleven rolls, hope Ryan is ok after that
Man I can't keep up counting the number of times he flipped in the air
@@joeshelton1077 he flipped four times between landings at one point
@@kingofrunescapepking oh nice thanks 👍
I counted an extra time
0:02
Sure hope he's ok ❤
that roof hatch should never of opened. Nascar needs to take a big look at this car and see where they went wrong.
Jeez that was horrifying. I’ve never seen a flip like that in my life.
OOOOHHH MYYYYYYY GODDDDDDD 😱😱😱😱😱😱‼️‼️‼️ IS HE OKAY ❓❓ Praying For Positive Outcome 🙏🙏
Look. The window net is down
We have not seen this kind of wreck ever since 2004 when waltrip flipped
It's Kind Of Weird That You Are Not Using The @ Sign In This Video
Oh no, the car is leaving the frame, I wonder if there's some kind of way you could have both the ground and the car both in the frame?
I counted 11 flips
#pray4preece
How many 360 rolls did you count we got 16 they said 10.
Nasty.
11 or 12,
NASCAR has made so many strides in improving safety… now let’s pave those infields. Like every square inch of them.
Unfortunately if it was paved he would've had a very vicous impact with the inside wall definitely wouldn't have been as violent as the flip but still vicious
The 43 wrecked him
Why did the car veered off
Someone got loose, and it was on from there
Looks like a 80s and 90s crash 😬 glad hes ok
That’s a crash he won’t forget!
Rusty Wallace 1993
Time to get rid of the grass. It's not needed.
Been a fan for over 5 years now and I can safely say this might be the worst flip I've seen. Maybe even crash.
The worst flip I’ve ever seen. Shades of Elliott Sadler at Talladega in 2003.
And also in 2023 Indy 500 what did the car driver was upside down and make the tire piss test and
Worst self lifting flip I’ve seen since Newman in 2003. Really hope he’s okay 🙏🤞
Yikes
early
stop crying about the flips...ask Tom Usry.
very nasty crasgh
The worst flip since Newman in 2020.
