And secondly, it's a tripping hazard and if one person carrying the stretcher trips and falls It can put everyone in danger, especially the person on the stretcher. It's also a hazard to other people in the halls where they're running because running into someone can cause someone. Yes you do watch too much TV but I guess you're also lucky enough to have never had to go to a hospital to see actual people carrying stretches in action.
