Choose any required size and set its hardness to 0
Then you will get a smooth brush

how do you get a straight line in polygon lasso

Use the polygon lasso and click on one required area on the workspace and move the cursor to another place!
If u still want a straight line and Hold Shift Key to make a straight vertical or Horizontal line selection
