- This week in our vanlife journey we go down memory lane and visit a seaside resort that Mark used to go to when he was a child. We find free parking then move onto something a little more luxurious.
Our luck changes from having free parking to experiencing Disaster!

❤We had holidays in Ingoldmells we used to go to SillyBillys for the entertainment . The Market there is huge they used to do a nice roast dinner in a little cafe within the market. Maplethorpe and that whole area is lovely. We took our grandkids for rides on the donkeys and oh boy crazy golf the laughs we had doing that. We love love love that area. Ah thanks for bringing back to our minds so many lovely happy memories ❤❤❤

I live in Lincolnshire , but never been to mablethoroe. Our daughter in laws dad had a static there he invited us many times , but we never got to go. A long time ago since I saw donkeys at the sea side..

Hi Lisa & Mark been to Mablethorpe many time we stay at Sutton on Sea CAMC site love the walk on the front stop and have a hot chocolate
We go for the day in the winter and watch bikes racing on the beach You can find stuff in those markets that you’d never see anywhere else just gotta watch what you buy 😉😉
A new Tesco has just opened so I think they are trying to keep it alive
Louth is nice to visit if ever your in the area agin happy days

Yes guy Mablethorpe brilliant I stopped at holivans its a static park but they have about 12 touring pitches at the front. It's next to golden sands holiday park ..just down the road from where your van is parked 😊

We haven't done much of the east coast yet so that's definitely on the to do list. I remember Norfolk being possibly the hardest county to wild camp in though so I guess that theme carries on through to Lincolnshire!
yes compared to the the north west we found it very hard to park it seems a lot easier over here x

Expensive pitch fee without electrics
Compared to some site fees it was reasonable in our opinion. There’s very few wild camping spots in the east coast but plenty of camp sites.
I can recommend the grange caravan park just outisde mablethorpe especially if you like fishing. We went height of summer just before the willowfields event. Good few nights and good facilities, as for mablethorpe itself it was rammed and a bit of a dump, however it looks nicer on a quiet day as in your video.

oh guys, I’m sorry to hear you’ve gone through what we went through. With your doggy it has been horrendous so I know exactly where you’re coming they are lovely to have but break your heart when they go. we had no intention of getting another dog but just fell in love with Chico when I saw him will you get another dog?
@@NorthernersonTour thanks. We’re not sure about another dog, but never say never. We are in our 70’s though. Our hearts say yes, buy head says no. We’d like to see you go to Croatia as we don’t know much about that country and I don’t think many go. Greece and Italy would be good too 😃. Anyway have a great time and enjoy it. ❤️

Ahh Mablethorpe, hope you don't mind me asking hun but how did you get the map up showing where you were? we usually go in the beach cafe with little Zara and occasionally have a breakfast 😋 I always holidayed in Blackpool too when I was a kid 😃 love air ice hockey 😁 love the drone footage too looks amazing! Love potato cake yep think it is a northern thing 🤣glad you managed to get sorted. Great vlog xxx

Lucky you had that jump starter! Do you not use your proper fridge in the van? Also, are your cigarette lighters live when the van's engine isn't running, cos ours aren't, so it wouldn't run down our battery, even if we had plugged something in.
Hi Fiona. Yes we use the normal fridge this is a cool box we use for drinks and overflow ! One socket is live with ignition off and oddly it’s the one that is attached to the engine battery!
How old is the van and how many miles on it ?
Mablethorpe looked okay and I've put it on my bimble list. Nightmare scenario of a non starting van eh? that kit looked brilliant and I'm looking at getting it...way cheaper than calling out towing services at two quid a mile(assuming you dont have breakdown cover. Always fun watching you guys on your travel. Hopefully now Viv-i-van is gonna be fixed for the second time🥵 I might be able make it to some of the meets and pick your brains as one northerner(bolton) to another how you go on about starting a little youtube channel. Hi guys, sorry to wake you up (Sweeper Driver) it’s not really that strange to clean a car park when it’s early and empty as it’s impossible when there are cars in the spaces.

Not strictly speaking although on the promenade I think we are fine !
great video im working my way round them all, how do you get on with the scooters ive been told they are illegal and can only be used on private land plus you can get 6 points on your licence when using them as they are not insured

we have had our scooters for 2 years now and been everywhere including france and spain where they are fully legal
There was supposed to be a announcement in the queens jubilee speech about legalisation of them here but nothing happened i think the police target the younger kids speeding around on them in towns

Hi nick. No we missed that!! Although we found a lot of places in Mablethorpe to be reasonably priced
I lived in Trusthorpe for a couple of years, on the chalet site Radio St Peters. I see the pub has gone on the bend next to the holiday camp. I found it quiet a dodgy area, as soon as I moved there I was shown where to get after hours drinks at the working mens club and if you wanted to to score drugs was pointed to the conservative club just on the front. Couldnt wait to get away to be honest and the guy who ran the Seacroft site still owes me money for the restoration of his Velocette motorbike. Chris.

@@NorthernersonTour yeh I've just been told it could just be a CZcams issue. I watch a lot on CZcams and my volume is always set to 9 but I had to take it to 14 that's all, so don't stress or spend money on new equipment, just check the volume in the editing before saving.
