I saw Dimash for the first time in 2017 and I cried my eyes out…….the lyrics are beautiful and intense……

He was a competitor in the talent shows……in China 2017 and I don’t know about the others after him…..but they all disappeared…!!!!!….hahaha….!!!!!. final second……
I watched over 50 reactions.…singer……vocal coach…..and other musicians…

My favorite version is the same song with the SOS special effects…it was during the 2021 confinement…..he ends the song on his knees…!!!!!…
He wears a dark red suit…..I like the lighting…….the drummer….the wings of a bird……everything is perfect…..
Between the musicians, the choirs, the special effects in the back……it’s phenomenal for an exceptional singer…!!!!…on the musical arrangements, he has two younger brothers, Raushan and Abilmansur, who are also musicians, composer, guitarist, pianist and drummer.
STORY: This song (SOS Terrien en distress) is part of Starmania, it's a rock opera, music by Michel Berger (France), lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Quebec, Canada).......two of the best.. .. ...
The show was presented for the first time on April 10, 1979 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
Michel composed especially for the first performer Daniel Balavoine for his special range. Sadly, Daniel died at the age of 33 in 1986 in a helicopter accident during a humanitarian mission in Mali.
The second, magnificently interpreted by Grégory Lemarchal, in 2004, he became known to the general public by winning the fourth season of the show Star Academy. Sadly, he died of cystic fibrosis at the age of 23 in 2007.
Dimash took over, it was “him” who chose it when he saw Grégory perform it, respect to Dimash for having preserved the linguistic origin of this work. Dimash performs this song phonetically…….
In May 2018, Dimash performed at the 71st Cannes Film Festival (France). In July, he appeared at Slavic Bazaar 2018 in Vitebsk, Belarus, as a judge and guest artist, and sang "SOS from an Earthling in Distress".

I felt the same - why weren’t the audience going really wild!! I have watched hundreds of videos of Dimash performances and I feel like going wild every time. He is a true credit to his family and country. Watch some of the interviews he gives.

I still cannot watch it without tears filling my eyes. Dimash sings in French. The song is by Daniel Balavoine, who died very young in a helicopter crash in Mali. It was made "the second national anthem of France" by Grégory Lemarchal, who died at the age of 23 of cystic fibrosis. Dimash was 23 at the time of this Belarus performance. But he was 22 at the time of his great break-through in the Chinese Hunan Television competition "I'm a Singer 2017" (the performance I know best). Once Dimash had completed his singing, he had won, literally overnight, over a million fans. (The number of Dimash's fans is now more than 13 million, all over the world." The song is a sad one. I still browse your music videos from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength you have invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that you have. Indeed it is really a great work. How you were able to develop such a heights of your talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because you sing it by heart, naturally and at your heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, courage, dedication and high ideals in pursuing your singing career to the best of your ability the best you can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope your listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from your optimistic views in pursuing your career, your persistency, courage, creativity and perseverance. Your labors are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt
congratulations to you, to your family and all others who supported you all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the singer and the content of its music.
My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although all your music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities
of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and
deeper meaning of it. Actually I have enumerated 10 of your songs with my personal commentary and reflection on it and posted it in CZcams each of it in
different phases because it’s quite lengthy my reflection on it.
Of course with due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
For all those who read these reflections and commentaries of mine about this piece of music mostly performed by Dimash. If you think it is helpful for you, for your family and friends you can share it to them as you please, and I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music

Song of Dimash “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the truth and Realities of Human Life)
Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in
our life’s journey, but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith.
For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discern well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of
these three can be an opportunity or a means of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with great humility and discernment.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God.
Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are
open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true
home. We should remember that we are strangers and pilgrims on this earth” St. Paul reminded us that “the sufferings of this present time are nothing to be
compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life.
In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters into us, our nature has been wounded, and we experience suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but it is part of the reality of our human lives now.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment.
Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence.
Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a
peaceful event in our life if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we did reconcile with God and at peace with others.
Death is the end of our earthly life. Our lives are measured by time, in the course of which we change, grow old and, as with all other living beings on earth. Since it is unknown to all of us the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we prepare at all times, otherwise we are caught by surprise of not being ready when God
comes to take us to be with Him forever in our eternal home in bliss.

I think the easiest way to become acquainted with him & his musical abilities is to start with the Chinese TV show The Singer (2017), on which he was a contestant. He sang S.O.S. on the first episode, which you can start with to compare to this most recent performance, or you can start with episode 2, on which he sang Opera 2. It would be fairly easy for you to go through the episodes and then move on to more recent performances, or you could mix them...however you decide to do it is fine with us! 😃 We are just so happy to have you with us on this journey with Our Dimash! 💕🇺🇸

Hello! This show was in Russia and apparently it is not a custom to stand to show appreciation of a performance there. This is also true in other countries as well. I’m American...and I would have stood up...jumped up and down...screamed my head off...rushed the stage... thrown myself on it...and grabbed his legs to kiss his feet and weep with amazement at his beautiful, angelic and mesmerizing performance!!! I wondered the same thing why not many standing ovation. I assumed it was a cultural thing. I imagine, it was hard to resist not to give standing ovation. Another sensation is Hua Chenyu from China. He's been in so many shows since his debut in Superboy 2013 to current. Maybe for a start, follow his performances on Singer 2018 to see his versatility. You can't go wrong with any of his live performances. Look for Eng subs first, it helps to understand the interpretations of his songs, but even without it, you will feel his emotions. He's like a Dimash with a totally different style. He can draw so many deep emotions with his stage presence and voice. Sold 180,000 concert ticket within just few minutes (less than 4 min?). He's older than Dimash but has a child like innocence. His childhood has a lot to do with his artistic creativity. Off stage he's got a heart of gold. Fans are his "Martians".

I mean in Slavic countries. The performance of Sinful Passion in Sochi is one in s million and most people did not stand up either, except for Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian composer and songwriter who now has collaborated with Dimash on three songs already.
This was the 2018 Slavianski Bazaar where Dimash was invited back as a guest performer. It was at the 2015 Slavianski Bazaar that Dimash won the Grand Prix, his first international award.
I would suggest you to go through Dimash’s performances at Singer 2017, which catapulted him to instant worldwide fame. Every song he sings is amazing. I would recommend: Opera 2, Adagio, Unforgettable Day (especially the one at the Gakku concert where he threw out his now famous D8), All By Myself, Confessa + Diva Dance, Ocean Over the Time ( which won the Hollywood Music Award in 2017, Best Original Soundtrack for Video Game), Sinful Passion, Love of Tired Swans (the MV of which was released just two days ago). I have always been an avid music fan and have listened to hundreds of thousands of songs but no singer has affected me the way Dimash does. I believe he represents what angels must sound like. I asked the same thing about the audience. It's a cultural difference, not a slight to his singing that they don't jump to their feet. I guess if they don't like you, you get boos, or stone silence. : ). I'm told rock shows, do break that barrier -- and they are on their feet if it's good enough.

This was the 1st song i heard from Dimash 2 years ago when he perform in The Singer and i am hooked on him since then. Trust me, you have hear nothing from him yet, he can do more than what you can ever imaging. Yep, that look on your face...I felt like I was looking in the mirror at myself the first time I saw him and he performed that song. I told you he wouldn't disappoint. Don't you think Freddie would have loved him...he being such a fan of opera?! He would have been so pro-Dimash. He is an amazing young man. He sang that song in French, and he also does songs in Russian, and I am not sure...but I think...he also speaks Italian? So happy you enjoyed it. I am back... my computer now cooperating. Well, it wasn't in Russia where Dimash performed. It was in Belarus (a.k.a. White Russia). The last face that the video picks up among the public is that of the Belarus "President" (read "autocrat" or even "dictator") Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
There is nothing quite as satisfying as seeing the awe in a person's face after listening to Dimash for the first time... or each song they hear after lol. He really does redefine limits on EVERY performance. I look forward to watching you discover Dimash.
