Common issue with Toyota/Lexus/Subaru. For some reason the immo units don't like used chips. While the chip may indeed show that it's been virginized it simply will not program. Must use a NEW virgin chip. Does not have to be OEM. Aftermarket work as long as it has never been written to. Weird.

Essentially, you're asking if you can program aftermarket and yes, you can. As long as the correct FCC id/ key part number is in autels database then you should be able to.
