- Have you ever tried to play Roblox on the weekend, only for the servers to go down out of nowhere!? Yeah, this animation is pretty much how everyone feels when Roblox shuts down.

At this point we'll be surprised if the higher ups actually decide to do something about it, instead of just watching this every weekend.
They'll make the servers come up 1 second earlier than now
they try, but you can't just throw money at a problem and expect it to disappear. new servers are kinda hard to implement

It happened the same way to me too. Except my lenovo tablet can't survive from lags and my lenovo chromebook can't survive from lags that's in a server where there are multiple and more objects bunched up together. Somehow It's not the wifi, but my devices don't have enough room from lags.

Step 1:have a popular roblox ga-experience.
Step 2:give it a huge update
Step 3: have EVERYBODY join because of the update and that the game is popular
Step 4:Servers crash because too many players were on roblox
And finally...
Step 5:have new CZcams content
Step 4: crash literally every other game
Step 5: take a few hours just to stop the potato servers from becoming baked potato servers
Step 6: "It surely won't happen again, right?"
Step 7: Repeat steps 1-7 in 1-2 months time

There's one small issue, roblox hosts their servers on Amazon AWS (a stinky service for hosting), that's why most of the time they have no control over their own servers, and they'd raher keep crashing than making their own physical servers
This is true, but fairly misleading. Roblox actually has their own servers to save money in the long term but they use AWS on certain parts of their platform.
as AWS exists since 2006, im gonna take a guess that they have been using the same servers from 2006 lol

edit: every saturday me and my sister go on pet simulator X 6 min before the update so we could get the hype gift then we wait for it to update only to realize some of PSX's updates are too high quality for roblox to handle.

the reason the servers went down so long that October was that due to the adopt me update, chipotle event, and other things, the potato became a burnt baked potato that blew up the old Roblox building and they had to spend the next few days trying to find another potato (the building regenerated in the span of a minute or 2)
