    What about the Universal Law that states _*"It's illegal to create dumb laws and then expect folks with common sense to comply?!*"_

    I moved to Texas a few years ago and my nephew was coming for Spring Break, so I wanted to know some of the laws. I was so done when I found out that underage people can drink alcohol as long as they are in the eyesight of their parents... This seemed crazy because Texas has a law that you can't purchase alcohol on Sundays before noon. This is a backward state. LOL

      it's funny cause we knew this law in elementary/middle school for some reason. Probably because the other kids were partaking in that activity with their parents lol.

    Here in NC, there's a state law that outlaws all sexual positions EXCEPT for missionary. I guess the Puritans didn't want their communities going to the "doggies". I hope you have an amazingly, wonderful weekend. #Lifer

    Funny. The maryland one isn't only in mayrland though. lots of states still have "soydomy" being illegal, and in most cases that includes both orayl and ayayl secs. shows you how easy it is to pass stupid laws when one party gets too much power in a single location. scary, actually. .

      Don't turn this into a political issue. Anyone with common sense knows laws like these are never enforced. Sthu about "parties having too much power".

    • @unclebounce1495
      @unclebounce1495 Před rokem

      @@Xeno_Solarus Moroyns like you assume things you have no clue about. If you had common sense, you would know that they were enforced. Just because they aren't today doesn't mean they weren't before. In fact, they were regularly used as political weapons to arrest political opponents. They didn't give a hoot about homosecshuals as much as just using the taboo law as a way of disappearing/silencing political rivals. Indeed, this was used to target men exclusively up until the 1950s - lots of folks who people in power wanted to "de-platform" were accused of this crime then disappeared to a federal prison. use your brain and study the history of any old federal prison (alcatraz is a good one) and their inmates and you'll learn something other than what you just assume is true with your little experience

      No more than likely it is / was because of religious purposes. Like the milk thing in Utah most likely due to extreme religious practices that “may” been the normal curtsy at the time that no longer applies and law hasn’t been changed.
