In this Electone cover, this song is a re-arrangement (by Alan Menken and Pasek & Paul) for the new Aladdin film 2019, sang by Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott as Aladdin and Princess Jasmine respectively.

Thanks for watching another of my upload.. yup it’s a re-arrangement for the 2019 film. If you have watched the film you’ll noticed that only 1 new solo song by Princess Jasmine, but rest of the songs are from the cartoon Aladdin which Menken & team did a great job in re-arranging it to suit the personality of the cast who will be singing it. It’s really cool arrangements for all.

Yes, you are correct on the original end credit was sang by Regina & Peabo. The 2019 version was by Zayn Malik & Zhavia Ward. Different yet beautiful too as the original. Menken & partners actually made an effort to re-arrange the soundtrack to suit the cast plus adding in a new song for Princess Jasmine. Truly an enjoyable remake of Aladdin 😃
