I needed this. My therapist got on her knees and apologized for everyone in society that has hurt, harm, disappointed or failed me. I told her it reminded me of what Jesus did for all of us. I'm like an artichoke with a lot to forgive. But I have come far using this series, along with other pastors work that synchronizes with this series. I had church hurt a few times but I have committed to a new church home here in Orlando, Florida. I'm going to keep working on the forgiveness process.

I needed this! I have been living a similar experience this year. My ex fiance called off our wedding in January, and I had to watch 5 people who are very close to me have their dream weddings to their dream guy. God is amazing, He prompting me to listen to her story through focus on the family, and God has done amazing things in my heart. Writing the hurt and bringing it to God and asking Christ to pour His blood over everything, hurts, feelings, and what I lost, experienced and the bad/ evil memories. This might have been the most impactful message for me this entire series😭 It almost felt as though Pastor Mike had been paving the way for her through his other messages. For a long time I felt as though I struggled with a spirit of unforgiveness but the truth is I was actually struggling with the impact part of forgiveness (triggers). Failure Useful // forgiving the unforgivable
When you feel like your circumstances are screaming and it is really hard to hear God’s voice, it is really helpful to go back to the last time you clearly heard God speak to you.
We do not serve a ‘do-nothing’ God, He is always working. Don’t let the miracles in your life be limited to what you can understand in your mind. Even when you don’t understand, God is performing miracles.
If we make our God and how good He is our focus, then our circumstances will be put in place. We may not know what good will come from these situations, but we do know that God is good and that God is always working.
Trust His timing! God does His best work in the unseen; even when we don’t see it, God is working!
You deserve to stop suffering. But the only way to stop the source of suffering, is through the powerful gift of forgiveness. Forgiveness is God’s gift to the hurting human hearts. It flows from God to us; through us to others. It is not based on your determination, it is based on cooperation with God.
Let the failure of the other person work FOR you, not against you. It can empower you to become even more useful! Just like Joseph in the bible, who forgave his brothers.
A person intended to hurt you. BUT God will use this for the future, He can take and use everything to make us even more impactful.
Hurt feelings often do not want to cooperate with holy instructions. Our feelings are indicators that something should be addressed, but not dictators that something needs to be forgiven.
Forgiveness is both a decision and a process. There is a place to process hurt feelings. Even if your feelings have not allowed for forgiveness, the blood of Jesus will cover it!
Once you made the decision to forgive someone, no one can take that away from you. Now the healing process comes for forgiving the impact it had on you.
Every emotional trauma is both fact and impact. When you get triggered, it does not mean you are a forgiveness failure. There was an impact, every time you’re triggered you know that you need another moment of healing.
The enemy was defeated by the blood of the Lamb. Jesus came to forgive and bring forgiveness, it is no wonder that the enemy wants to prevent us from forgiving others.
You are empowered to forgive. Your heart is too beautiful for bitterness and anger. Forgiveness is God’s provision for your hurting heart.
